Nicely done.
I've never been a huge fan of "the HuMane 7 drift apart" when it's done for it's own sakes. Yes, it's what happens to MOST High School friend groups, but not all. Sides, it kinda goes counter to EqGs general themes.
Obviously this ain't a dealbreaker, especially not for a story like this, just a minor pet peeve.
