Anyway, what struck me as odd and maybe even a bit too on the nose was Apple Bloom simply blurting out that they should be bonded. Seems like there could have been a more natural way to put that?

In any case, it's hard having destiny be your destiny. It certainly isn't the sort of thing that's immediately obvious. Though we'll see just how well Scootaloo can avoid what's meant to be...

Yeah, that's an understandable stance to take. Not a reasonable or logical one, but some people care more about the rule of law than, you know, insolation.
