This story is a sequel to Equestria Girls: Dial D for Derpy

What starts out as a normal day for Sci-Twi's dog Spike, soon becomes a fight to free the heroes of the world, who have fallen under the control of the villainous Mr. Mind. So it's down to Spike and the Legion of Super-pets to stop the villain and free all the hero from his mind control.

REALLY good job on the start of this story. Starting the story at the climax and then flashing back to how it all started was well done. And yeah, I really liked seeing Spike chatting with the other Rainbooms' pets. Really good timing on Krypto and Ace's arrival too.

All in all, the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I'm particularly looking forward to the introduction of the rest of the Legion.

You're very welcome.

Again, wonderful job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked the introduction to five more of the Super Pet Legion and Krypto and Ace arriving in time to help the aforementioned other five members.

Now, I DO have a couple of POSSIBLE ideas for the end if you like the ideas enough:

1. At an appropriate point of the climax, an accident with one of Mister Mind's devices could give Spike the ability to fly at a top speed of 200 miles per hour plus the strength of twenty ordinary dogs three times his size, flame breath, super-powerful jaws and sufficient increased durability to compensate for the other powers (in other words, basically the abilities of an Equestrian dragon; after all, if the humans can have the abilities of their Equestrian counterparts, it's only fair that HE gets them too and this seems like a pretty good way for him to gain those abilities).

and 2. If you DO like the aforementioned idea enough to use it, Spike could comment "You know what? I was thinking of a good super-name I could use for those times I have to help out Twi and the others against threats like this AND others. What do you guys think of - Dragon Dog?"

Of course, I will also more than respect the fact that this IS YOUR story and you don't have to use the ideas if you don't like them.

Once again thank you for the support and ideas:twilightsmile::raritywink:

You are quite welcome.

REALLY good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked Throg reassuring Spike concerning how the latter can still be useful even without much in the way of super-powers as well as Spike distracting Devil Dinosaur long enough for Throg to destroy that mind control device.

At any rate, I will certainly be looking forward to more of this once again.

Again, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. LOVED how Devil Dinosaur helped Throg and Spike free Zabu, as well as how Spike found the hidden base AND the introduction to the rest of the LoSP.

VERY definitely going to be looking forward to more of this.

Again, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I especially enjoyed the heroes spotting all the captured robot and cyborg heroes and rescuing Detective Chimp.

Yeah, definitely going to be looking forward to more of this.

Once again, very good job on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I especially liked the teamwork that went into the fight with Dragon Man. And, yeah, I have to grudgingly admit that WAS a good sneak attack by Merton while the heroes were distracted with Super Flea.

I'm definitely looking forward to more of this.

And Happy (early) Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the comment, the support and Happy (early) Thanksgiving to you:twilightsmile::raritywink:

Would be fun to see Humdrum also be a recruit (can give him any other form to avoid confusion) and I'm imagining that he is a skilled fighter for someone with no powers and he's pretty insulted that he's often portrayed as the bumbling sidekick

Well, now we reached the part of the story we came in at. REALLY good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. So, Mister Mind used Black Kryptonite to create evil duplicates of Krypto and Streaky. Yikes. I don't blame Spike for being dis-heartened right now, but I have a feeling he'll see SOMETHING that will help him snap out of it. Yeah, looks like we are building toward one doozy of a climax.

Definitely looking forward to more of this.

And, Happy Holidays in the event that the next chapter doesn't come out until after the start of the new year.

Now, even though it will probably not have much to do with THIS story, I AM going to take guesses as to the other seven varieties of Kryptonite mentioned (as they WILL probably play important roles in LATER stories). Mind you, these are GUESSES, NOT suggestions:

Green Kryptonite: The most common variety; weakens Kryptonians to the point of being potentially fatal with a large enough dose

Red Kryptonite: Non-lethal, but unpredictable effects on Kryptonians (either physical, mental or a combination of both). Typically wears off in 24 or 48 hours.

Gold Kryptonite: Removes a Kryptonian's powers completely (either temporarily or permanently, depending on the size and concentration of the fragment). Second rarest variety

Blue Kryptonite: Effects Bizarro Kryptonians the same way Green does normal Kryptonians.

White Kryptonite: Harmless to Kryptonians, but lethal to plant life of ANY planet.

Jewel Kryptonite: Amplifies a Kryptonian's mental energy to the point of granting upgraded mind powers (including psionic energy blasts and limited teleportation)

Orange Kryptonite: Grants non-Kryptonians the same powers as a Kryptonian at an even higher level for 24 hours. THE rarest variety.

So, just how accurate are my guesses? If I got any wrong, I apologize.

9997356
thats a very impressive guess:twilightsmile:, I'll only be using some of he kryptonite mention when the story needs it:raritywink:, also Happy 2020!:raritystarry::pinkiehappy:

10028807
Fair enough and Happy 2020 to you too. :-D

Once again, great job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked the pep talk the Legion gave Spike as well as Spike continuing to PRETEND to be disheartened in order to lull the villains into a sense of false confidence and get a chance to find a way to free the others. Mister Mind's rant about magic (specifically curious as to the magic inside of Spike) was darn good too. And great use of the Orange Kryptonite in order to at least temporarily give Spike the powers to escape the villains too. Looks like at least ONE of my guesses on the other seven forms of Kryptonite was correct. And, splendid work on Spike freeing the rest of the Legion of Super-Pets (and the way Mister Mind mentioned a "phase two" on his plan makes me think it wasn't a moment too soon.

VERY definitely looking forward to next chapter.

As always, you are quite welcome.

Excellent job on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked the explanation for the Orange Kryptonite as well as the teamwork in freeing the captives and defeating most of Mister Mind's minions. And as for the finale of Mister Mind's master plan - yikes. Definitely makes me the right mix of nervous and curious.

VERY certainly looking forward to more of this.

Really good work on this latest chapter. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in the right places. Have to admit, it was a clever move on Mister Mind's part using Ultimo to keep the more powerful animal heroes busy.

Anyway, really looking forward to the next chapter.

10068932
As always, your support is much appreciated:raritywink::twilightsmile:

REALLY good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter/story set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked the teamwork that went into stopping Ultimo. Yeah, it took the last of Spike's dragon powers, but I did like the team's reassurance. Mister Mind's capture was well done too.

Now, on the final chapter.

REALLY good job on Spike's last scene here with Twilight and Midnight as well as the set-up for the next adventure. So, Starro is going to be next, and his followers already have the Guardians of the Galaxy and Adam Strange under their control? Definitely appropriately nerve-wracking.

REALLY looking forward to the next story.
