Letter 66: Here.
To my most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle,
The power of laughter can help mend past hurts. In your brother's case, it can mend past hurts with the addition of good therapy and emotional support. I think you should honestly apologize to Shining Armor sometime soon, and not because it didn't work. You've been making strides, my little pony. I'm proud of you. I know you'll keep growing into a better pony, too.
You're on your way to being the pony I know you can be, Twilight.
Your loving mentor,
Princess Celestia
Dear Anon,
I know you have enough self preservation and goodness in your heart not to actually try to torment a mentally scarred pony into having a relapse or a panic attack. I know this because you are my friend, and if that was not an attempt at helping to smooth things over with Twilight, I would be honestly disappointed in you.
I know you're a good human at heart, Anon.
Your friend,
Celestia

Probably helps that Anon has his own horror stories with dealing with the purple wizard (no sense of right and wrong!).
I don't think Celestia has ever used guilt on Anon before, but I bet it's super-effective.

I have a feeling that Shining's ability to laugh at the situation partially came from the understanding that Anon lives with her.
I think she’s unsure if he was joking or not but is fairly confident it was a joke.
Notice it’s signed “Celestia” instead of “Tia” to show she’s serious.
I think it needs more celestial threats.
