That... would be from a point in my life I'm not especially proud of, and I did eventually entomb the dragon skull after I gained a healthier respect for the lives and deaths of others. Besides, we didn't really have bleach back then and most spells to... prepare bones were unpalatable so it tended to have a rather unpleasant smell. It served the purpose of terrifying a certain few other nations into avoiding conflict during a tenuous time in history, mind you.

I'm pleased you've managed to coax Luna into telling you some stories of our past. Just make sure she doesn't get into the salt - she's... a boisterous drunk.

Seriously, property damage has never failed to ensue. This warning also counts as a transfer of liability if you should be proven to have willfully inebriated her on Equestrian soil.

Dear Anon,

I debated whether or not to be coquettish about this, but if I found out my sister was hurt as a result I would feel remiss. Ponies have certain aspects of body language which we usually do not vocalize, and most are either familiar enough with ponies or are ponies themselves, that recieve such gestures. A light brush of tail to the muzzle - or nose - tends to denote interest, Anon.

I do hope she finds your obliviousness amusing. Perhaps you should research more on Equestrian body language and gestures. There are visitors guides after all.

To be fair, very early in earth history, substances such as lye, and, in fact, urine, were used to bleach bones for decorative purposes. That said, this is Equestria, maybe they never really thought about that sort of thing at all. They don’t, generally, wear clothing, so they’d have no need, back in such an early period, to learn how to tan or bleach materials for that sort of thing, so, I’ll give it to you.

Question in regards to the actions of our own species: I've had several women pet my head when I've cut my hair really short. Is this just because they enjoy the sensation of effectively rubbing their hand on a bristle-brush, or is it one of affection? I've had a few kids do that to, so I'm leaning towards the first one as far as they're concerned, but what about the older ones?

To be fair anon clearly states it as being slapped in the face as in Luna's whacking him in the face hard enough to cause pain I believe the problem lies in Luna controlling her strength

Also anon is human a completely different animal to a pony ( yes we may be highly intelligent but we are still animals) which means different instincts to communicate things like interest in another person

I usually don't like the sarcastic human in Equestria trope, but first, the humor was good enough for me to give it a chance, and more importantly now, the characters have actual "chemistry" with each other.

Like, Celestia and Anon are long-distance friends, and I can genuinely believe their interactions.

It's certainly not the usual fare of attention-grabbing, edgy, "look at me Mom, I'm an adult now" fics. And it isn't just a showcase of what the show does wrong about its lessons, either. This is nice.
