We all lose opportunities for new friends from time to time, and I'm sorry you lost such an opportunity in a more poignant manner than most. I know you will recover, my little changeling. Fear not, all will be well. It is kind and sweet of you to cherish friendship so very much. It's always wonderful to see how you are growing as a being, learning new things, experiencing new emotions, and of course, making new friends.

I know this is going to sound crazy but hear me out. So that changeling Stupid Luck - and the very cute way he chose to spell his name - has just the biggest heart, even if he's not very bright and I was thinking maaaaaybe we should start considering... Well, you don't have a student yet, yes?

- that, and I have this feeling that he could become a stellar character, given time. Hell, if they could put some worldly understanding into him, he might even become the first Equestrian Knight in a long, long time... I think Luna's court could really use such honor.

I'm serious, by the way. It may not be suited for the standard fare here, but a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming every now and then is very welcome.
