Anyway, I'm kind of young (But not younger than the age limit I promise!) So I'm relly proud of how this turned out!
"What if Celestia wanted power?"
...But she already has it in spades, doesn't she? If anything, she'd want less power for the sake of attaining some meager sense of normalcy. She seems desperate to be seen as a normal pony.
Unless, of course, we're talking about a different sort of power. She did get folded like a stack of cards in the season finale; a ruler who can't protect what is rightfully theirs isn't much of a ruler at all. I can see her possibly going to rather great lengths to attain great power, but not out of greed. I thought that was kind of the point of Celestia's character: That while far from perfect, she's above those sorts of vices.
Oh well. I don't have an opinion either way, so good luck with your story.
Or are we talking about some kind of power that would make her an Alicorn? Maybe said desire is referring to every girl's fantasy of being a princess, even if it's only a pretend game
; apparently, virtually all women go through this "Princess" phase as little girls.
But wait, notice how both her parents are earh ponies, I don't want to spoil anything so just wait for the next chapter!
This is a good story. Advice: this chapter was too short. For future reference, make longer chapters.
Other than that, great story! It's very descriptive(which I like) and you got Discord's personality and the way he acts perfect!
