Okay, you win. I’ll be nice. ;p
Oh my GOSH Sunny!
THANK YOU!
Alright, I was gonna wait a bit longer to leave a comment, but after this heart wrenching chapter I feel obliged to say something.
I found this fanfic in lzjian79's acc on instagram (I'm very much of a fan of her art, so I was more than happy to check out the fic she drew stuff for) and at first, I was taken aback by the amount of chapters it has. I've never read anything quite this extensive, but I figured it'd be no big deal. I came in with low expectations, to just give it a shot. And OH BOY was I wrong to underestimate this.
I mean, holy crap dude. What the hell was this chapter?! And not only this one but the ones prior to this too, diving into topics I've never seen anyone try to write about due to how complex they are?! You're one hell of a brave writer, that's for sure. I loved seeing every bit of their psychology being explored, as well as Sunset's backstory being slowly revealed until this point. I liked seeing the thought process behind things too, with your commentary in the author's note. You've provided one of the best explanations for Sunset's behavior and traumas that I have ever seen so far on this website, I swear. It's hella realistic and it could totally happen in the original story. Loved it.
I felt my heart ache seeing Sunset so desperate... The poor kid needs a mom. This chapter was absolutely heartbreaking, and the way you wrote it made it even more painful. Perfect.
I'm fully into this story now, truly invested. I know I'm late for the party, but I'm gonna read and comment as if it's fresh news. Great job!
