I was kind of hoping at the end twilight would snap and kill a surprised trixie but this is a good cliffhanger ending.

Yikes! And this is why it is good Twilight won during The Magic Duel. That amulet was definitely corrupting and it certainly aided Trixie in getting Twilight to corrupt her pamps.

I think this is the first story I saw that had an exact word count. Not often you can make proper closure of a tale at a precise number, like 2,000. Most impressive.

Multiple endings seem like they're more trouble than their worth for this one. It was never meant to be anything more than a scene meant to play out the idea.

I never say no to potential sequels and the like to my fics, but rarely do I find the drive to make any. I certainly have ideas for this, but whether or not they get written is a whole other matter. I'm glad you at least enjoyed this little snippet though!
