Waiwaitwait, so she is blaming Shade for this? Why? Even in our own folklore Wraiths are demon summons and high tiered at that, they require a lot of sacrifices (in the form of innocent souls and blood) to even summon one!
Besides, while Shade is a bit of a dick and MAYBE a bit dark, I can’t see him sacrificing so many innocents to kill a single Noble house. There is a line between Dark and Evil and I don’t think Shade is willing to cross it, even for knowledge!
Tambelon, the necropolis of the Ram necromancer Grogar. Celestia, the only way to bring that being back would be to resurrect him and I don’t think even the evilest Cult in the world would do that. But that doesn’t mean some being Isn’t trying to imitate him and use Shade as the fall guy.
So question is, who is setting up Shade and how far does Celestias hate and manipulation of the facts go?
Just beyond, the flakes of a gentle snow fell over the landscape. The trees and bushes of the parks and gardens veiled in a blanket of white. ResidenceResidents scurrying back and forth through the streets from carriage to market stalls and shop to shop.
Flames twisted by hatred, rage and hunger. Consuming wood and stone as well as flesh and metal. Only extinguishing after however much mana was used to cast the spell itself.
Wording feels odd in the underlined section.
The Inferno burned with the heat even she could feel. Crawling along any surface it touched and leaving nothing but molten slag and ash in its wake.
10098665 While she may not be capable of holmesian leaps in logic, the information represented is as accurate as her perceptions and biases would otherwise dictate. Whether she is capable of lying through omittance of information or other such variables is something that you would deduce yourself given the information presented. If I were to give you a direct answer, I would say confirmed but with the caveat that she is neither omniscient nor free of bias.
10105517 The thing I love the most about your story is your protagonist Black. The way he fights with words instead of brute force, his silver tongue and his heartlessness when dealing in politics are simply amazing (and completely original for this site). The second thing I love the most it has to be the world building, those flashback introducing how he became a noble and how cold he could be where amazing. To be honest I came to this fics expecting a unoriginal protagonist with black magic that would be misunderstood and hunted by the ponies (But thanks to his unexplainable, un rationale, unnatural good almost angelic morals he would not fight back) but with the power of friendship and shit the ponies would accept him and awaken the eights element or some shit like that. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled with this master piece, on the first chapter you had my attention, on the second chapter it had me hook and at the time we got to third chapter it was already one of my favorites in the site.
You know, Shade reminds me of Palpatine. He can put such a convincing front yet can be ruthless if need be. Now, if only he could shoot lightning from his fingertips...

Whoever it is really seems to know what Celestia's buttons are.

Or know what she hates the most and her fears.
Fuck this is getting GOOD!

Isn’t the thing she’s fears most a chicken stealing her cake?
10096799
No that’s her abject fear.

Can you confirm that this is what actually happen or is it just a construction of celestial mind after she put all the pieces together?

All I can say is thank you for the honest answer and I shall endeavor to do my best to continue to impress.
