"I lie and say I'm happy every single time I'm asked. I don't wanna be a burden.. so I just put on a mask" ~Zimm

Fleetfoot is a typical Wonderbolt. She's flashy, athletic, living the dream... she has the life every pegasus wants. Ponies look up to her, admire the daring stunts she pulls regularly. But then she had the accident, and now she's blind. Nopony knows how what's going to happen in her future, or if she's ready to move into this new life. And even if she's physically okay, there's the disorientation and anxiety of not being completely in control anymore. Even if it makes her feel lost, the best thing to do is to take it one hour at a time.

The Voice is mean... :(

I'm not gonna cry. I'm not gonna cry. I'm not gonna-

sobs in Equestrian

Aw I'm sorry. Would a pinkie pie help? Here :pinkiesad2:

No but... but maybe more of this story would help?

You just made my day :twilightsheepish:
I'll see about a sequel. Honestly I loved writing this, and I see potential for one. Don't give up on me yet! :pinkiecrazy:

Man, how long did it take me to notice this?

Anyway, this felt like an opener for something bigger, although it still works as a short fic.

Something kind of like ye olde Echo Fleetfoot fanon except 'modernised'.

Glad you liked!
I tried to write it as a story that could have multiple chapters, but I sort of think it should stay 'short and sweet' as they say :twilightsheepish:

Very nice, enjoyable, and thoughtful read. Watch out for some inconsistent slips into past tense and also for visual descriptions when your character should be already blind

I was sure I had missed a few of those.. :facehoof:
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it.

You’re welcome! Glad I could help a little
