I remember a very similar quote from the movie Room (one of my favorites).
As someone who is still very attached to my Mommy as a grownup, this was a very touching read. Maud Pie's drabble is just so funny yet touching and on-character! I also prefer the idea of Twilight being like Spike's mama rather than a sister. Contrary to what they said in Sparkle's Seven, I feel like Twilight is more of a motherly figure to Spike.
