We're all growing up and going beyond the show. I mean, just because others have left off the story early in the life of the characters doesn't mean they aren't still interesting. I intentionally skipped some years to avoid conflicts with story not written when I began my vision but they are intended to be more extension that completely new. Of course mortals get left behind.
