DarkHooves

I'm still here; I watch you play. But I can't think of much to say.

E

Sugarcoat is a tactless bookworm.

Indigo Zap is an impulsive tomboy.

At quick glance, you would never think these two girls could ever be friends. But sometimes, it's the differences that makes a great friendship!

This will be a collection of cute little stories showing how Sugarcoat and Indigo Zap became friends and beyond.

Will contain diabetes inducing sweetness, some salt to balance it out, and irregular updates.

Ooh, I love this so far! Sugarcoat is one of my favorite characters (she and my OC are cousins), and the contrast between her and Indigo is really cute! Can't wait to read more of this!

“I don’t see how whether you have balls or not determine what a sport is or isn’t.”

:rainbowlaugh: It took Sugarcoat years to get what she said (on the other hand, Indigo is just as mature now as she was when she was 12 Which is totally immature).

You know what? You made me realise it's much funnier if Sugarcoat doesn't get it at all.
I'm removing the part where she realises.

I'm definitely Indigo...

This was sweet! It's interesting that Lightning Dust is Indigo's mother here, and that the seeds of Indigo's rivalry with Rainbow were sown many years before the Friendship Games.

To answer your question, I've always been a Sugarcoat.

This is so cute! A little weird seeing Lighting Dust as a mom (and apparently years older than Rainbow Dash for some reason) but I do enjoy the camo appearance of the most determined jock in the series nonetheless.

Thank you so much for reading so far!

LD being Indigo's mom is alittle out there, but I really wanted to make up for her being replaced by Indigo in FG.
Plus to add some positive depictions to filter out the bad ones the writers insisted to give her.

Anyway, next chapter are about to be finished!
Hopefully in a few days.

EDIT:
As always I overestimate my ability to write and underestimate the amount to be written. (And I did NOT spend a whole week reading MerulaxMC fanfiction!) There's three sections left to the chapter before I can enter prepublishing. Sorry for my tardiness.

Guess Sugarcoat inherited fainting from her dad...

Hehe. I love their friendship, it’s so cute

Why would you do that, Sugarcoat? :twilightoops:

“Look, I snuck out of bed one night and saw my mom watching this movie about a robot that looked exactly like a human! And then the robot had to cut off the skin on their arm to show it had this metal skeleton under it!

I've seen that episode of Stargate before.

Sugarcoat didn’t respond. She just kept staring at the red liquid running down her finger.

Just looking at it made her feel weird. All of a sudden, her heart was beating faster and she felt nauseous.

Sugercoat has hemophobia? Interesting.

Seriously, I love how you write these characters. The childish misadventures really land solidly, as does the characterization and emotion of everyone involved.

Additionally, Lighting Dust as the practical, take-charge, super-mom, is really enjoyable to see.

During a slow part, Indigo turned to Sugarcoat. “Just so you know; I wouldn’t have cared if you were a robot.”

Aww! Honestly, this is why a big part of why I love your stories. Because of the feels! :yay:

The art at the end is pretty cute too!

I'll be honest, I did not understand the meaning of that line until just now.

I've seen that episode of Stargate before.

Really? I've never seen that show. I was thinking of T2 when I wrote that.
What episode is that?

Additionally, Lighting Dust as the practical, take-charge, super-mom, is really enjoyable to see.

There's no way I would have had LD in a story and not have her be a badass. Indigo could have been yelling about a bomb and she would still have known what to do.

Why would you do that, Sugarcoat? :twilightoops:

My idea is that young Sugarcoat knows exactly what she wants and doesn't want, but she's weak to pressure. She doesn't want to be too dismissive because people get angry if you are. Her diamond-hard exterior from the movie hasn't manifested yet, so to speak.

Guess Sugarcoat inherited fainting from her dad...

Indeed.

Really? I've never seen that show.

Basically, imagine Star Trek. But instead of a federation, the whole thing is run by the US military. And instead of using star ships, they relay primarily on traveling to different plants through portals created by alien travel devices (Stargates).

"Tin Man" is a bit different from usual Stargate episodes, and it's not my favorite of the series, but feel free to give it a look if you are interested.

There's no way I would have had LD in a story and not have her be a badass.

A capable Lighting Dust is the best Lighting Dust.

This is the fifth time I have read these wonderful chapters) Are the next ones planned?

Aww, thank you!
There are chapters planned. I just have to get my butt out of the owen and finish the next one. I just don't feel it's any good so it's not fun to write...

11195022
It's okay, in any case, we will wait for the continuation, as long as it suits you)

I love them, they are so cute together
