Ember decided to take Garble to Ponyvillie to check on his sister, due to him not knowing where Ponyville is. Though Principle Starlight isn't there at the moment and Garble decides to look for her in Twilight's castle. Spike and Smolder try to stop him as no one's allowed in there without permission.

Things get worse as Garble and Ember come across a certain mirror, which they turn on. One thing leads to another and they get transported to a new world, with new bodies.

What an interesting consept. I'll definitely need to read more. I would have checked out the first chapter but 10k is something that I kinda need to save for a slow, rainy day.

A long, but quite enjoyable one-shot. The exchanges and characterizations were quite well done and I LOVED Ember, Smolder and Garble ALL reacting to the their canine forms over in the human world (as a bonus, the fact that this happened to other dragons at least shows that the multiverse ISN'T singling Spike out). Plus Garble and Smolder meeting and working with that gang of street dogs was pretty entertaining, I LOVED Spike's meeting with his native counterpart on the human world and Spike and Ember's reactions to the abilities the girls gained since the last time Spike visited that world were downright priceless.

All in all, truly great stuff.
