Nathan was almost 16, and he already hated his lot in life. His "family" hardly cared, and he no friends to speak of. He supposed his grades were something going for him, but school was far from his passion. He truly felt he had nothing left to look froward to, seeing as he still hadn't gotten up the guts to even talk to the girl he liked- not that it mattered. She probably already had a boyfriend. Yet he kept going, not willing to take his life to sort out his misery. But his life would change when he suddenly finds himself in Equestria.

Bruh... the amount of angst bleeding through these words. But I shouldn't judge too harshly, we've all been there at one point or another. Just try to dial it back a bit... unless it's your intention to make the male lead a metaphorical walking eye roll, if that's the case then go ham, son.

You're talking about Nathan, then. Well, there's good reason he doesn't connect well with others (Ophelia being one exception to that). I won't spoil too much, but he basically feels that most people are not to be trusted. That anger you saw when Pinkie mentioned becoming friends? He felt insulted that she thought such a thing might happen so quickly, especially with people he has little in common with. More will be explored and explained as the story goes on.
My grandfather would have a fit.

Well, Nate's right handed, so he does a lot of things with it. He will use his left only when his right isn't quite enough, such as to steady his sketchpad when he draws.

Let's see...
Nathan is somebody I would akin to having a middle-low voice when speaking normally. When he gets loud he only gets slightly deeper. He might sound like a Bass.
Ophelia would likely have a middle-high voice, but not shrill. Her tone might almost sound like wind chimes.
Ferris is has a bit of a scratchy voice, and slightly above-average high toned voice.
Miara is pretty soft-spoken, as her voice is slightly deeper than other girls.
As for the others, I'm not entirely sure just yet.
