Nice start, looking forward to more :pinkiehappy:

Oooo. This is not bad. I'll keep reading it.

Intriguing. Let's see where this is heading, shall we?:derpyderp1:

No problem.

Huh, this might be interesting, I wonder how it's gonna-

“But I need power!” Sunset snarled, her hands clenched into fists. “I need more power!

Okay, yeah, that's all I needed let's fucking go, I'm in this for the long haul!

Over there, a picture of Sunset as a little filly making a vase with her mother. Next to it a shot of the same filly, her smiling face smudged with dirt, as she planted flowers with her father.

Okay I would really love to see art of these moments.

You have my interest

I'm a simple man. :moustache:
I see Devil May Cry, I like

“But I need power!” Sunset snarled, her hands clenched into fists. “I need more power!”

Well thats never a good sign, hello horse vergil.

Vergil: *smirks and looks at Nero* See, boy? THAT is how you do it.

We shall!

And a long haul it'll be!

Me too, mate, me too
Fortunately I know a good artist I can commission, once I scratch some moneys together

Sweet!

I'm a simple typewriter monkey
I see a comment, I smile :pinkiehappy:

Oh yes, Sunset and Virgil are going to get along just great :raritywink:

I want to hang that cover art on my wall!
Where did you get it!?

I commissioned SugarlessPaints for the cover art
Worth every dollar :raritywink:

Once that is done I will soo be there to see them. There is just not enough adorable filly Sunset in the world. And we need more darn it!

Damn right it is! That thing is beautiful!

(Side note):

*sees revolver in the picture*

*Clint Eastwood mode activate*

“Go ahead, make my day.”

So far so good, you've got a good voice for Sunset's character here, ambitious, headstrong, and belligerent. It reminds me a bit of Long Road to Friendship's depiction of Sunset.

Cheers, let's see where this goes.

*whistles* That's certainly an interesting backstory for our girl... Now I'm wondering how it'll how go to heck. What was it exactly that made her start to give up on virtue and harmony?

Cool fucking concept, can't wait to see what you do with it.

I am more interested is watching Sunny as a little filly chomping some herbs with a very cute expression.

This is a pretty neat take on Sunset's backstory. Pretty well thought out, I like it.

Interested to see where it's going, the world needs more DMC crossovers.

Foolish enemies being made of flammable material.

Thanks ^^
Glad to hear you like it.

You'll see.
I wouldn't want to take anything away ^^
I've got six memories planned (including the one in this chapter) to document Sunset's journey from happy little filly to bitter, power obessessed crown thief.

A whole lot of good stuff, I hope ^^

Hm, that's a nice idea too...

Thanks ^^
My leading question when I write a backstory for Sunset is always: For what purpose did Sunset desire power?
And subsequently: What kind of life led to her developing such an obsessive need to obtain that power?
I think I've worked out a pretty good one for this Sunset ^^

Being flammable is always a bad move, when you're up against a tiny, pony-shaped flamethrower ^^

So... Who's going to be Virgil?
