Simultaneously able to type 94 wpm and still take five years to finish a story. If you're feeling generous, throw a ko-fi at me.

Rockhoof loves his new job as Keeper of Tales, and the students love him, too. His tales of old Equestria capture the imagination and are always good for a thrill.
But sometimes what a teacher teaches and a student learns can be very different things.

Mistmane pulled out a beautiful bouquet of bluebells, and with a little wind magic, played a little lullaby that soothed the savage beast.

Ooh, nice "Boast Busters" reference.

I do love how Rockhoof finds a way to work his shovel into every story. We all have our favorite characters.

And that end line. :rainbowlaugh: Well played; I've heard that punchline before and I still never saw it coming! Best of luck in the contest.

*gives the author a hard tap on the head with an umbrella*

Ouch! I know that joke and it still got me square in the face.

But also I really like Rockhoof's rambling stories. Would definitely listen to more.

Also, is it just me or is Rockhoof a bit sweet on Mistmane?

I did not see that ending coming... well done!

Ri2

Wait, is Mistmane older than Star Swirl?

God damn son of a mother ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.

You get an honorable mention just for what you punned alone.

I will see to that!

SON OF A BUTT!

That fucking punchline caught me so off guard, I think it done rend me in twain. (Without a shovel even!)

Oi, you right cheeky YAY! An oldie but a goodie that I didn’t see coming! Got a good giggle outta me, m8.

That Mary Poppins nod at the end ha!

oh shit

I've heard that one before, but you legit got me. XD

Well written, great voicing, very clever and well paced. Can't figure out when the ending didn't work for me...

Odd.

Wow. That was lovely reading, greatly in-character for everycreature, and... even knowing it was a feghoot, and even having heard that punchline before, just like everyreader else, I still didn't see it coming. :rainbowlaugh: Very well done, sir!

All that, for that ridiculous punchline.

Good job regardless! Seriously, Mistmane needs far more love. She has so much potential, and it makes me sad to see her get ignored and neglected.
