This story is a sequel to Sci-Twi Analyzes A Burrito

It's been well over a week since the Siren Sisters went their separate ways. Things have not been working out for Aria Blaze since then. Famished, she enters a certain burrito-selling establishment where she encounters a man who would be king. Things go downhill from there.

Part of the Burritoverse.

NOTE: This is a from-the-ground-up Rewrite of my June 2016 story of the same name.
Still rated "T" due to Aria's foul mouth.

"The sky was a uniform dark grey as rain poured down incessantly like a highly fragmented waterfall, or perhaps football players who’d just won the big game dumping the contents of their cooler on the coach, whichever was less pleasant."

Starting off with incredibly strong description that I'm inspired by.

Aristeque. Hah, that's perfect. Sounds a lot like aristocrat.

"“You know the funny thing,” mused Orangeglow, “I don’t get along with rich people. I get along with the middle class and the poor people better than I get along with rich people. That’s why I built the first Orange Tower on the Whitherton side of the city. And everyone loves it. Beautiful building.”" God it sounds so much like Trump and his ignorant hypocrisy I can hardly stand it.

I wish more people understood the only difference between illegal aliens and citizens is solely that they have paperwork that gives them government benefits. Illegal aliens still pay into the system.

It bothers me way more than it should that Twilight Velvet would even be implied to like Orangeglow.

The characterization of Orangelow was perfect, especially his love of the poorly educated. It was hard to bear tbh and I'm glad he's dead. The amount of ego and redirection is depressing. I just wish you'd included more information on how much money he'd lost. Might as well put out all the facts.

Anyways the descriptions was really good, and aside from only three errors I saw I loved it.

Sad how many of those quotes I remember. More sad that Trumps followers don’t seem to care much about the more toxic aspects of his personality. Interesting to read the new version either way.

I'm betting you wrote this comment before reading my blogpost on the subject… it IS him.

Honestly, I'm not happy about it either, but I had to do it for plot reasons. You'll see once I write and post the relevant story.

It's also ironic since, in my headcanon, Twilight Velvet writes the Daring-Do series, not A.K.Yearling, and J.K.Rowling is well-known for her leftwing views and is almost as infamous as Stephen King for trolling Trump on twitter -- yet another thing those two have bonded over following a very rocky start to their professional relationship.

You'll note Big Beulah is a major Orangeglow supporter. One of many reasons for the rewrite is because I wanted to put that out there earlier in the timeline.

My only hope is that people who've read both will consider this version superior to the original. I have literally not looked at the original since going back to OCD-ify my stories' word-counts over a year ago.

I'll trust you that you know what you're doing with Velvet. :P
