Good authors too, who once knew better words, Now only use four-letter words writing prose. Anything goes. :raritywink:

Locking himself in his room, barely talking to his friends, sneaking out without him, Gallus has never seen Sandbar like this.

Despite every instinct his heritage gives him, he does care. He wants to help his friend, but he wants to give him the space he needs. It's not like Sandbar to shrug Gallus off like this. And all of these flowers he keeps buying. For a Marefriend?

For some reason, Gallus kind of hopes not...

This was great, for someone who hasn't done LGBT romance before this was an awesome first step. I like how you didn't make the romance aspect the biggest part because that made it seem far more genuine to me.

No AU tag why? With Sandbar and Yona being a thing now (deal with it buthurt fans), this kind of needs it.

Show canon only matters if you let it.

Let the boys be gay.

That isn't what the AU tag is for. The AU tag is meant for when you are changing the basis of how this world works. Like working under real world physics or making them cats as opposed to ponies. Changing Character relationships is just what you need to do when writing fanfiction.

Very, very pleased with how this turned out! Sweet and cute and just the right amount of griffon snark to balance it out. Thanks for taking this on!

If you know people who are in the LGBTQ+ community, you can ask them about it and they could help you write a sequel. In any case, this was a good story.

They shared a school dance once, that's hardly them being "together"

It’s not perfect, but it’s a good story. For the first time, it’s a very good start.

Poor Sandbar but this is a great story. Though the part about Sandbar relative dying was kinda obvious from the start.

Definitely enjoyed reading this story. I really can feel what Sandbar is going through. Good job for your first M/M shipfic!

Do you think you’ll ever write a sequel? Maybe one about the dinner and the, talking about their feelings?

This was adorable. For the first shot at a romance with same-gender characters you did just fine. I would certainly like more.

This is some high quality GallBar shipping, here.
