To a ground-bound pony, a cloud is a collection of rain that hasn’t fallen yet. To Rainbow Dash, it's so much more. It's a place to nap, a launchpad into her mind, and depending on the company, a point of grievous contention.

Well that was lovely.

Some of those drops are tears.

I don't know what to make of it... but I like it :)

Very existential and somewhat confusing. I feel like a deep point was being made but I didn't quite grasp it. Interesting read, though.

Best kill perfection when found. Down that path lies madness.

i am pretty sure i did not understand this as it was meant to be . .
but still, very good, nicely written, no spelling or grammar mistakes i can remember.

“What gives,” Twilight said, “Is I’ve had to water a dozen delicate flower sculptures by hand every day because you won’t make it rain.”

"Which is really difficult, since I have to haul the scultures through the portal first."

Had these not been nationally-recognized and protected pieces of art, she may have grazed over them for a quick snack, too.

They lose more flower sculptures that way...

I'm definitely missing some layers here, but what I did get was a fascinating journey, at once deeply cerebral and undeniably Dash. Excellent work. Thank you for it. But what were you trying to say?

Gonna need to chew on that ending for a while. Thought-provoking read. Like most of the other commenters, I'm not sure I really understood but... is that the point? I just don't know.

Though I did not understand the meaning behind this story. I still find myself enjoying it

... I'm pretty sure I can safely say that this is my first art house fic?
