pretty good i like it it's sweet but it's not too overly sweet either

You walk over to her room, slowly opening the door and peeking inside.

Sky is sleeping peacefully, her fluffy chest slowly rising and falling. It brings a smile to your face seeing her like this. You close the door just as quietly as you opened it,

Anyone else think this is a serious breach of etiquette? If you have a roommate and they close the bedroom door, you do not simply open it and look in. Great way to 1) see something requiring serious amounts of brain bleach. 2) Instantly volunteer for concussive dentistry.

Hell, There were times ( in collage) when my female roommate and I called it a night, only to wake up in the morning to find she invited a guy over sometime during the night. Im guilty of the same thing, but my invites usually started before my roommate called it a night, so atlas she knew my playmate was there.

Now if your roommate is a roommate with benefits, thats different.

Am I wrong?

I can see your point. While it doesn't justify the actions or make my oversight any less of a failure on my part, I can try to offer some explanations (for argument sake).

Firstly, anon had just woken up. I don't know about you, but I often don't act rationally in the morning. This is a minor point, but still worth mentioning.

Secondly, it's notable that they'd only recently moved in, and given what anon has seen of Sky up to this point, they're probably doubtful that she would invite any 'playmates' over, at least not yet.

Thirdly, Sky is a pony, and anon a human. While the two species are very similar, there are notable differences. Perhaps anon, in their tired state, didn't recognise the possibility of a pony inviting someone over to 'play'. This is supported by how little experience anon has with ponies, which is stated in the first chapter clearly.

I don't intend to edit this mistake out, I'm not seeking perfection, though I'll make note of it for future writing. Maybe I can even purposely use it to display some of my above points. Thank you for commenting.
