That's actually a good point. Forget what I said about the tropes and all, the readers can choose to believe if EqG Scootaloo have parents that are away most of her life, like in FiM, or if Scootaloo doesn't have parents. Either way, the readers only need to know that she lives on her own most of her life, at least in this story. End of discussion.

I just had to wonder—how come Scoots didn’t know that the new tenant is Luna? And also, if the vice principal was just unpacking, how come she had managed to find the tale so quickly? (Just minor nitpicks that made me stop and wonder.)
