Enjoyed reading this Your descriptions come off as slightly choppy at times, but it’s not much of an issue since most of the story relies on witty back and forth between the two fillies. Their pronunciation lesson of sorts, as well as the occasional remarks such as

"I don't think he trotted away, I think da teacher ate him."

amused me quite greatly, and so did the ending. There wasn’t something funny in every other sentence, but no one says that there has to be for a story to be deemed a comedy. Your jokes were paced well and hit home, so yes, if you were unsure, this story is a comedy. And adorable one at that, as others before me have said.
