Lingo

I'm here to read great stories. If you're reading this, you must have made a wrong turn.

E

Keen Eye has a tough job as Canterlot's Animal Control officer, but it's one she loves. Surrounded by fuzzy, feathery, and scaly critters, and sometimes getting help from a certain Ponyville animal expert she definitely doesn't have a crush on, things could be worse. Then they got worse.

It started when jungle cats caused trouble throughout the city—well trained ones, at that. Then she met their bizarre master, and learned that he would be the least of her worries.

Copying prereading thoughts

I saw the character tags, but I forgot that Ahuizotl would appear until the white cat appeared. That was a nice moment of putting everything together.

This is pretty fun so far. Keen Eye is likable, and it's interesting seeing her parse through what's going on. Her crush on Fluttershy is cute.

I think I'm going to like this story.

Well that was delightfully unexpected. :rainbowlaugh:

Glad to see another chapter -- I think it's good! ^^

I’m not sure using Bump as a trap is ethical. If Keen Eye is paying attention she knows that Daring Do is dangerous enough to hold her own against a powerful mythical being and an impromptu pride of big cats in a fight. If she listened to Ahuzitol she knows there’s a distinct possibility Daring is a ruthless villain. Putting an ordinary animal against her even a giant python with the element of surprise is a pretty reckless risk with the real possibility of getting them killed. I don’t think Keen Eye would endanger one of her charges like that if she was really thinking.

It's been 84 years.
Great to see an update to this. Curious to see how Keen gets involved in this conflict. Also Daring, if that's her, isn't doing a great job snooping. Half expecting Quibble Pants.

Nice to see another update at last. Curious to see what's up with the request to capture Luna's opossum; just a way to get her out of the way? And who would be capable of that while getting castle staff to cooperate?

Well I suppose the castle job wasn't as sinister as I thought. I wonder how this ties into everything else, then. In any case, that was a good Luna scene, and it was neat seeing Keen's relationship with Discord.

This was a nice moment between Celestia and Keen Eye, and the subtle hints about the nature of the room (well aside from the name) are a cool detail.

And as for the ending, so much for things going well for Keen, lol.

Nothing better than the love of a pet.

Nice chapter! Forming a legion of supervillain pets.

So he may understand currency and trade. That puts him at a near pony-level intelligence.

And somewhat above those who request free art, or other services.

A couple of places you wrote "aid" where it should have been "aide".

Another deal struck, another mile deeper into this rabbit hole I've stumbled into. So far I've encountered the White Rabbit, the Cheshire cat, and now the Queen of Hearts.

That's a neat analogy.
