The goodbye ceremony with the aliens, and what they'd had to say about Sunset and Twilight, had left Rainbow rather interested, so to speak, in the actual nature of the two girls' relationship. Waiting for a moment alone with former, she decided to ask for further clarification on just what exactly was going on between them, and how much of what she'd heard had been interpreted correctly.
Sunset was more than happy to answer all of Rainbow's questions and doubts on the matter. A little too happy and eager about it for Rainbow's taste, perhaps. But she'd asked for it, no?

I was referring to what was in this case a fourth party, people who happen to hear about it second-hand... and really wish they hadn't. More generally, the fact that exhibitionism involves somebody being exhibited to, and the potential embarrassment of being caught by somebody who didn't know you were into this sort of thing appears to be part of the appeal.
