After discovering a piece of the Nightmare's corruption residing within everypony, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna conducted an experiment to extract that magic. Their efforts were a success on Twilight Sparkle and her friends, but at a heavy cost. Instead of inanimate objects like the armor from Nightmare Moon, the most negative traits of the bearers were ponyfied. These manifestations of the Nightmare couldn't reside in Equestria nor could they be destroyed or banished. The act would also affect the true bearers. So they called upon a curious stallion to watch over them and guide them to true happiness in a distant, foreign city. Years later, the situation had worsened rather than improved. These are the chronicles of their caretaker; in a place that he referred to as 'the last casino.'

Hell, for all we know, you weren't even reading the stories, just slappin' down some major copy pasta to get more people to read your stories. Too lazy? I'm not too damn lazy to write a featured story, reply to almost every comment, help new authors and clean up damage from people like you. And all I spend is an hour or so a day helping people out. You copy and pasted this for every story on the front page, regardless of whether they were hidden gems or future featured stories. You belittled new authors, making them hunt for non-existent errors and problems. You expect people to like, comment and follow your stories because you pasted bad advice and advertisements onto their stories? By that logic, I ought to go and spam my story on your posts, walls and stories, and see how you bloody well like it. I've spent over an hour now talking to authors about the bad advice you gave, and offering them good advice. If you have nothing good or unique to say about these brilliant stories, unplug your keyboard and go play outside.
