Nothing special here, move along, nothing to see, just ignore the lump under the sheet and the red stuff...

How does Celestia deal with a new Alicorn dropping into town every week? Well obviously a procedure must be developed to take care of the issue appropriately. (one shot)

Caution: Contains Parody (and nuts). If you are insulted by the contents of this package, we guarantee double your bits back or a set of Lions tickets. Actual mileage may vary. Contents may settle during shipping. Contains no shipping. Also contains no clop, or other things that small children or college students should be prevented from reading. In the event of a laughter event lasting more than four hours, consult a comedian. No animals were harmed in the creation of this parody. (other than spiders, and nopony cares about them anyway). Et Cetera. Pro Patria Mori. Carpe Carp.

Confession: I've been working on a multi-chapter monster called Memiri Star for a week or so, and the pressure of avoiding all the standard tropes just built up until I had to write it down. There are no spoilers or links to any of my other writing in here. Feel free to "top" me on this one

Oh man, you have no idea how welcome this is after going through 4 or 5 shitty Brony-in-Equestria stories. My hat off to you, good sir.

Alright, simply for mentioning Hilbert's 16th I'm going to have to read some of your other stories. It doesn't hurt that this made me smile.

Please tell me that you name-dropped Hilbert because of the anniversary (8/8 was the problems' original presentation to the ICM). If so, I'll follow you on the spot. :twilightsheepish:

That was definitely worth the read. It makes me wonder what happens to the (not so) poor saps when Luna shows up, though...

I think it would be more useful to drain them of their power for later use, then throw them into the lake.

Straight to the point but still effective, I loved it. I think the communities going to run out of things to parody in itself at some point, at the rate it's going.

Brilliant, just utterly brilliant.

1053633 Heh, sorry Horizon. Although I'm a sucker for Math jokes (a dozen books and about a foot of computer printout), I'm *horrible* at the actual application of the cursed profession. (just ask any of my college professors. I hold the world record for retaking CS-580.) Good news for math-a-phobes though. Once I got out of college, I never had to use it again except to help my kids with their homework.

This was absolutely brilliant :pinkiehappy:

1053684 She probably eats them, considering what Celestia does. Being Nightmare Moon has its perks, I suppose. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Luna_lolface.png

Mea culpa, but I at least had enough sense to have mine born in Equestria, and give a decent explanation. :facehoof:
Gotta love it. Everything down to a science. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/lolface_Celestia.png dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Twilight_Sparkle_lolface.png dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Spike_lolface.png

I love how they have a bureaucracy ready to handle the situation. It says alot about how often they have to do this. XD

just how many of these guys a week are we talking about here, it sounds almost as if this sort of thing is becoming a national holiday with all the paper work involved

This was the perfect read after seeing one too many 'self-inserts'.

Bowie reference in the title? Oh HELLS YES.

The only way to make this even funnier would require a trapdoor installed in the chariot.
I wonder which prominent anatomy they attached the ball and chains to.:rainbowlaugh:

1147986 Uh, if it's that prominent, a stallion can't walk. :twilightoops: :rainbowlaugh:

Nice to see something like this ^.^

Even after a few days, and knowing what's coming, every re-read gets me chuckling evilly. :pinkiecrazy:
Who says Trollestia only plays pranks? :rainbowlaugh:

yyyeah, cute but too easy. Really.
I know I'm the guy who wrote 'Fanfic is Crapsack' but.... well, if you're gonna parody bad writing, you gotta put meat on the bones. Give it some innards and brains, too. "And then they stabbed the OC in the face" doesn't really go far....
I'll also note the irony of writing Twilight, Celestia and Spike completely OOC in a work meant to criticize bad fanfic. (If they were in the habit of murdering annoying ponies in cold blood and feeding them to the hydras, Prince Blueblood would have been smoked ages ago.)

YES

This is a wonderful read after binge-reading a bunch of HiE fanfictions (Why I did I will never know). Thanks, good sir.

Awesome, very funny, I love it! :rainbowlaugh:
Definitely following you now! :pinkiecrazy:

So, do the ponies in town have betting pools on what will turn up next?

I liked all the little touches that make it seem so routine. They've been doing this for years haven't they.

Even weeks later this one has me chuckling.
There's still more to parody out there. All those cross-overs... :facehoof:

1054554 bit harsh mate. I don't know them off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure I could find you a decent HiE fic or two. ah yes, cheating death

1209031 The various ponyverses are intricately hyper-connected to each other, to the point where everything has happened and simply reiterates itself endlessly with slight variations. It makes up a good 8% of the entire story verse. THAT IS FRICKEN HUGE. As such, all the loose OCs that the ponyverse ends up recieving and thusly creating must end up somewhere. Eventually, their universes simply stop at a certain point, becoming loose reality and mangled shards of pocket dimensions that lack boundries. Hence, to deal with the surplus of wandering pointless characters, several magnet/sponge/dumpster realities exist soley to contain, recycle, or dispose of such haggard beings. Otherwise, the surplus would interfere with all the stable ponyverses with the general one, eventually forcing a reboot that strips the miantimeline completely bare of split-offs. Then, the ponyverse reasserts itself and builds up again. At least, that's how I rationalize it.

I LIKE you. You're SILLY. :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

2360694
*mane timeline

I jest, of course, but I like your rationalization. it makes just enough Pinkie-logic sense to be barely plausible.:pinkiehappy:

2089670 this should be a side story

The only problem with this story is the waste of a perfectly good iron ball and chain. Maybe they've got the hydras trained to turn the empties back in for recycling though..?

1054115 except for they dont need to eat or breathe. Yeah a thousands year of no food, water or air and yet Luna is still kicking.

Ooooohhhh. So that's how it goes.

I love stories like this XD Awesome solution!
