This is a lot of fun if a bit too short. I feel like there could be so much more to it. I like this Flurry though and gladly accept her characterization as older Flurry headcanon.
I was wondering if you thought there might be the possibility a sequel to this in the future? It's really well written and the characterization is really good. There also seems to be plenty of plot that could play out. Twilight seems to have slightly more romantic feelings for Flurry than Flurry has for her. That could allow for a great story on its own not to mention all the drama of incest to begin with. Luna's approval is right there too leading to all kinds of questions. In short, please if you ever even consider a sequel please do it. :D
I haven't read this story. And honestly, I doubt I will.
But actuality: Avunculate (uncle-niece) marriage used to be not too uncommon, especially among royalty. Twilight and Flurry are actuality more radical for being in a homosexual romance, then for being in an avunculate romance.
Now, I'd hesitate to being avunculate marriage back. But I can see why it was done. If you have a brother you love dearly, and trust with your life: Well, who better to trust with your daughter's life?
