Yes indeed. I couldn't pass Mashy off to Vincent Tong, could I?
Stefan Karl Steffanson is not credited for We Are Number One and You Are A Pirate but The Globgogabdalab is. Disgusting.

Special one?

It's a big cast.
I will have to say that overall it's not bad. It's a nice twist, and reasonably well written.
Primary issues I've had: a midwest community plopped on the California coast complete with midwest weather, and somehow connected to the Great Western Railway of the UK. I'm going to assume you said it was in California just because? There is a reason why many writers choose to be ambiguous as to where the setting of a place is. Granted you could have kept the setting in the midwest/east coast, and the CMC could have been the Chessie System Crusaders. Though to be honest if I wasn't from California I might never have remarked on the snow aspect. Fog, the true bain of the California coast would work better. And I might have simply taken the GWR at face value if I didn't know it was a UK railroad. Placing it in Northern California with Great Northern equipment and a museum to explain exotic equipment would help a great deal. Familiarity is the bain of writers and readers alike.
Regarding Apple Bloom: the beatings she got needs to have serious consequences, or tone it down.

Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed it.
Well goodness me, this was quite a refreshing Anon-a-miss tale. I've been on a bit of a Anon-a-miss reading spree lately. And I have to say, this was, by far, the most unique take on the holiday special I've read. Not only does Sunset get a happy ending for once, along with not a single mention of Suicide But the Crusaders get a happy ending too .~ though, all of the train lingo went way over my head.
I will admit, Though I did enjoy a lot of these anon-a-miss stories, even the ones where Sunset commits suicide, this is the first story I can truly say, Well Done on making a story that hit right in the feels!~
You've gained a follow from me, and I look forward to reading through all your other stories. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to hug my CMC stuffed ponies.

Thank you.
This was good and the Twist was nice but the ending forgiveness kinda feels a bit too much.
