Ok, so first off, consensual mind control is the fucking BEST. This is really well written (at least, as far in as I am; I haven't finished reading yet) and you covered a lot of important and entertaining points that some people miss.

Twilight worrying she's too into this despite taking every precaution is adorably in character.
Also was not expecting the shift into Songbird's perspective, which was a nice surprise. You've got a gift for imagery and shifting perceptions.
Was hoping Twilight would use the "good girl" trigger a few more times.
If ever there is a sequel i would like to think Twilight would leave the "good girl" command in Rainbow's head for use anytime she wanted. Orgasm on demand just sounds like comedy gold if used right.

Actually, unless I'm mistaken as to how this magic effects things the ONLY equation that would have been modified in RD's mind would be 2+2. Any other potential way to add up to 4 would still be 4 but 2+2 would be 5 unless/until the modification is removed/corrected.

Just read this fic and I know I'm late to respond, but this is possible.
2.4 + 2.4 = 4.8
If you round those to whole numbers, it becomes 2 + 2 = 5
Baguette! 🤣 It is so rare when a story like this actually makes me laugh out loud. Whatever inspiration you drew from Wintermist's FiMC (fantastic in its' own right), you 100% nailed it and made it your own. A sequel would not go amiss.
While I'm not normally into fics where Dash is the one mind controlled (i've just seen it too many times), this was still kind of cute.
I do hope we get to see that sequel where Dash is in control, though
So this was a funny, sweet and sexy story! I do love TwiDash MC fics, and this one was great! Making Twi nervous and needing reassurance from Dash was perfect. And the fact Twi kept leading Dash into being comfortable with exploring her kinks added to the romantic aspect. The jokes were well timed, and the sex was great.
I'll echo that I'd love to see a sequel with Dash being the one in charge for once, but this story on its own is definitely a fave.
Ooh, this was a delightful read. I'm not one for mind control, but this was very well done, and I really loved the emphasis placed on consent. Love me some good character moments where the characters really show how much they care for each other and for doing things safely, and love the moment when Twi immediately berates herself for being tempted to use it for bad reasons. The scene itself was also really hot, and it was fascinating watching Twi mess with Rainbow's perception near the end. Really creative.
Also loved all the references. I'm a sucker for FiMC and 1984, so I definitely appreciated them.

At least the opening made it clear that this isn't a one-off thing, they've had a relationship before, and Rainbow was OK with this before starting.
I loved this! Especially how Twilight could tell her things where happening and she began to see them, because of course they where. I think a more descriptive aftercare/ de-programming would have been great, made it feel more well-rounded, but I loved the fic and I think you did great!
