episode 3: He's Great, just Saiyan Man!

High over the horizon, a long, serpentine-like dragon, Shenron, soars through skies. Upon his head were the likes of Gohan, Goten, and Trunks enjoying the ride. Moments later, a portal opens. Flying past the dragon, Vegeta, and Piccolo enters the portal first as the trio looks on in awe. Shenron lets out a roar as he follows the two through it. The scenery quickly changes from Earth to Equis.

Celestia was enjoying a cup of tea on her balcony with her sister Luna as Shenron exits the portal in the background. Fluttershy was busy tending to the animals in her sanctuary as Angel bunny frantically points to the dragon above. The yellow pegasus looks up and gasps at the sight. Over in Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack hauling in her product before a large gust of wind from Shenron's passing blows her hat off. The farm mare puts down her produce and gives chase. In Ponyville, Pinkie gasps as she hovers in the air while Shenron passes. A moment later, the party mare disappears, leaving behind an outline of smoke. At the carousel boutique, Rarity struggling on a new line featuring the combat Gi's Spike and Scootaloo wore before Shenron passes by her window. A look of inspiration hit the fashion mare as she quickly stretches something out before running outside. Rainbow Dash was resting on a cloud when she spotted Shenron in the skies. Looking at their destination, Rainbow shot off her perch with her signature sonic rain-boom. The trios of Saiyans leap off the great dragon while landing in front of the castle. There, Twilight is standing at the entrance, waving them over. The rest of the elements of harmony, Piccolo and Vegeta were there to greet them.

Elsewhere, Dragonlord Ember was walking through a hellish landscape. The silhouette of a massive dragon was reaching toward her. She closes her eyes only to open them again as Spike looks at her with concern. In a coliseum filled with cheering spectators, Scootaloo walks in with the E.A.T. belt around her waist. Her opponent was a man in a brown and white Gi that sported an afro. She shots her opponent a confident grin as the two charges one another. A second later, Scootaloo sends her rival out of bounds as two announcers - one blond human and Earth pony of similar features - declare her the winner.

The sunsets as the moon rising over a statue of Goku. Spike and Scootaloo stood there wearing somber expressions at the loss of their beloved mentor. However, the transparent image of Goku puts a reassuring hand on Scootaloo's and Spike's shoulders. They turn around in shock at his appearance. He smiles at his pupils before he fades away, with the two of them chasing after him. They don't get far as several figures cloaked in shadows appear before them. Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, and Goten land beside them as they all take combat stances. There was a staredown between the two factions before they collide in an explosion of light. Finally, the ponies and dragons stand next to the Z fighters in front of the School of Friendship. Goku lands between his wife while draping his arm over Gohan's shoulder. They both share wide grins that for their friends and family.

[School of Friendship - Auditorium - Gohan's POV.]

"So do you all think is the special announcement has something to do with our trip?" Elisa asks. All the students were sitting in the auditorium with Videl to my right and Elisa to my left.

"I heard it was last minute. A rep from the Equestrian Education Association," Ozzy said.

Sharpner leans back on his chair with his arms behind his head. "One of those high noble unicorn supremacists at that. Word on the street is that they hate each other,"

"How can the princess of friendship hate anyone? Doesn't that go against her job?" Elisa asks.

"I think it may be one-sided," I said. "I heard from the junior councilors that the EEA doesn't agree with the School of friendship's student body,"

"You mean you heard from your girlfriends~." Elisa teased as I blushed.

"It must be nice having insider information about the school's machinations," Videl added.

"It's not like that--"

"Attention. May I have your attention, please?" A filly said, wearing a white shirt and red skirt with spenders. I believe her name was Cozy Glow. She and the rest of the school faculty were on stage. "Thank you all ever so much for attending the assembly. We have a special guess joining us today--"

"Oh, great, it's her," Videl said in an annoyed tone.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"That filly seems off to me like she's plotting something,"

"Don't mind her, Gohan. Videl naturally hates cute things," Elisa teased.

"Please give a big old school of friendship welcomes to the chancellor Neighsay," Cozy Glow said.

At the sound of that name, I knew this announcement was going to be bad news - for any non-ponies anyway. He donned a full robe with his medallion around his chest. Sharpner wasn't just making a simple joke about supremacy among the Canterlot unicorns. The chancellor made numerous complaints about the schools' existence, and how it was a threat against Equestrian values. But I can't say his full support of tribalism isn't unwarranted since it was only recently that the other started species began unifying. It's hard to allow a school of all species when dragons used to enact raids on Equestrian soil. Or when changeling attempted to overthrow the government on multiple occasions. He brought his concerns to the day court after Twilight opened the school her despite being unsanctioned by the EEA. It was the first time in parliament history that all of the princesses had to abstain from voting due to conflicting interests. The only reason the school stands today is because of like-minded ponies such as Fancypants and Fleur. They saw the schools as a means to expand the idea of friendship to others and improve relations. The vote didn't sit well with a lot of nobles, especially the chancellor, so why is he here now?

"Good evening, my fellow ponies," Good start so far. "As you may know, I am Chancellor Neighsay, head director of the Equestrian Education Association. The reason for my visit is quite simple. To inform you of the imminent danger you all will face!"

Immediately, the tone of the room changed. Several murmurs of concern went off. Cozy Glow gasped out in shock, but it looked exaggerated. "Danger!? What do you mean?" She asked.

"I am referring to the influx of human criminal activity!" The chancellor declared, eliciting more gasps. He pulls out an envelope from his robes. "This pocket contains a report of various crimes committed by humans. These crimes include vandalism, terrorism, assault, battery, foal-napping, and many more of the like across multiple kingdoms. That would've been fine if Equestria wasn't opening the door for these fiends to run rampant!" Using his magic, the chancellor display many photographs featuring criminal activity perpetrated by humans. Given what I saw at the portal station, it's hard to argue against Neighsay's claims.

"Chancellor Neighsay! You've overstepped your bounds! I will not sit here and let you berate my students with hate speech and slander!" Twilight stated firmly.

Many of the students agreed, but Neighsay scoffs at this. "I am speaking nothing but the truth, head mare Twilight. Something you and the other princesses willfully censor to the general public. I was thoroughly against bringing beings from Earth on Equestrian soil. At least the other savages are native to the planet. The humans bring a calamity far worse than any dragon or Yak could, thanks to their technology. Just look at what happened at the 'unauthorized' opening of this school!"

Twilight scrunched up her muzzle in annoyance, "The princesses and I have those bouts of unrest contained! But that information was strictly confidential. You aren't even supposed to have it!"

"I am not just a chancellor of the EEA. I have access to the right individuals the same as you princess," An coy smile adorned his features. "And unlike you, I am using my authority to ensure the safety of our ponies! Those bouts of unrest are quickly escalating every day. Why the city of Manehattan - the trip you are planning, by the way - was recently seized by local gangsters. Whom I recall are currently toting around human weaponry!"

"Golly. All of this news sounds dangerous," Cozy Glow said. "How are the humans bringing weapons here if that fancy portal is supposed to be checked by the guards? Is security that bad, or are there humans that are very sneaky with hiding those weapons?"

"A fine question, little filly, one I sincerely hope Princess Twilight has an answer for us," Neighsay goaded.

Rainbow Dash flew into the chancellor's face, glaring at him. "You think that if some bad humans and their weapons will be enough to scare us off, then you didn't do your homework on us!"

"It is that kind of reckless attitude that I will not have around impressionable young ponies!" By now, it looked like all the humans were glaring at Neighsay. "But, to get to the point of this assembly, I've brought these concerns to parliament once again. with the overwhelming amount of evidence, I am sure the purity of Equestria will prevail!"

"What are you talking about?" Starlight asks. "What vote?"

"The vote to revoke all human citizenship and close off the portal between worlds!" What? They can't do that! "After all the other riffraff are off our world, of course,"

"That's enough!" It came as no surprise when Videl jumped to the stage. "Where do you get off smearing us like that?"

"Smearing would require telling a lie, and the proof of you kinds misdeed, are right here!"

Neighsay was flaunting those documents as they were Zeni, but Videl's indifferent scowl morphed into a smirk. "Funny. I seem to recall that ponies have their bad elements as well. Or is Nightmare Moon still an old mare's tale?" The smug exterior of Neighsay instantly fell after that. "I know there are a lot of bad humans - I've put a lot of them behind bars - but don't pretend ponies are above everyone else!" Videl turns to the crowd as everyone gave her their attention. "None of you need to worry about any rouge humans on this trip. I've dealt with their types on multiple occasions. Plus, being the daughter of the world champ, I've picked up more than enough skills to handle anything,"

The auditorium erupted into cheers as Neighsay scowls. "I sincerely doubt a little human like you can a multi-national crisis by themselves, and I won't risk the safety of ponies on it!"

"Then it's a good thing the E.A.T. champ is a school consular!" Scootaloo spoke up, marching up to Videl. "I think I can keep everyone safe with some help from daddy's girl if needed,"

Videl eyes narrow on Scootaloo, who smiles in return. "Thanks, champ, but I wouldn't the press reporting your injury before you meet my father," Scootaloo's eyes twitch as a smile was on Videl's face.

"And I wouldn't want the 'world's strongest man' to drop out of our fight because of your potential injury,"

They turned and faced each other as we watched. "You might want to watch yourself if we meet up with a group of them, I might start throwing attacks recklessly!"

"Yeah, and you might want to keep clear, or I might blow you away on takeoff!" Both girls were standing there smiling, but I could see the tension. It was hard to miss with the sparks flying from their eyes.

I slapped my hand against my forehead. "This mess keeps getting better,"

Manhattan was one of the largest cities in Equestria, next to Canterlot. And like Canterlot, you can see Capsule Corp's influence. But today, we're here to visit a new art gallery. Since the portal between worlds, many artists took the chance for inspiration for their pieces. After some time, the owner of this art gallery got in touch with them to showcase their work. Twilight got wind of it and decided to take the class for a visit. I think this will be great for everyone, especially after Chancellor Neighsay's announcement. Tension started to strain now that the seeds of doubt sowed into their hearts. I got to quit with poetry books. Regardless everyone was still excited about the trip, and many patrons filled the gallery. A mare in a purple business suit stepped up to the group. She bowed before Twilight as she returned the gesture.

"Thank you so much for coming, Princess Twilight. There are no words to express my gratitude and what this means for the gallery!!!"

"Thank you for having us, Showcase. I think a trip here will help ease the strained relations of our students," Twilight said.

"I agree with you completely, princess. Now then..." Showcase walks in front of us and clears her throat. "Welcome, welcome, creatures of all species, to View of the world's art gallery! Ever since the portal joining our two worlds came about, inspiration struck the artists world over--"

"Oh! O.H.!" A frantic voice got our attention. It turned out to be Silverstream, a sea pony representative from Seaquestria, and one of the juniors of Twilight's school. "Is one of the displays a work of Blank Canvas? I only ask because I got into painting and I discovered his work. And I thought, 'Wow, he's super talented!' I mean, putting colorful ink on a board? That's great! Then I turned to Gallus here and said, 'Oh, what if we get to me him?' And--"

Gallus, another representative from Griffinstone, places his talon over Silverstream's beak and turns to Showcase. "She's - uh - very excited about the gallery,"

"Really. I couldn't tell," Smolder said sarcastically. This dragon was unique. I heard rumors that Spike and Ember took on a student and sent them to the school. Based on what I'm sensing from her, I'd say she fits the bill.

"Thank you very much, young mare. Enthusiasm such as yours is what drives these artists. Now, let's begin!" Showcase led us into the main hall. Instantly, we stopped. There were many art displays available with a large number of other patrons. But, the big shock was the presence of the artists themselves. Our first stop was near another pony - an earth pony stallion that had their mane in a swirl. "Meet Single Drip. And his piece; A dotted plain,"

"Yona, don't understand. What is the picture?' A Yak from Yakistan asked. She was another of Twilight's juniors.

Single Drip flicked his drooping mane upwards as he spoke. "I crafted this piece based on my first hoof steps on Earth. I wanted to capture how everything was so different than Equis!"

All of us stared intently at the painting. It was a unique take on perspectives, but I don't think Yona quite understood. "So, it is a tree, with dots!" Yona said with a smile. Single Dip shoulders slump as he lets out a snort.

"Hehe, continuing onward..." Showcase said nervously. We followed along until we stood before a human woman. "This is Miss Cher and her piece, Untamed Wilds!"

"I-Is that a - *GULP* - Timberwolf?" Sandbar asked.

"Yes, it is. My first time here looking for inspiration had me traveling all over. Eventually, during a night camping, I stumbled upon their den. I could hardly believe wood, of all things, would ever pose a threat by itself. So, I was able to capture the moment of a natural predator of an unusual origin in its supernatural plain!"

"Far out," Sandbar sad in awe.

"Yes, but let's not try to do anything so - um - adventurous ourselves," Showcase said as we continued.

The tour went on for a whole hour. We visited about seven other exhibits during that time. It was amazing to see the various art and hearing the reasoning behind their creation. Although, I don't think the humans were as enthralled as the rest. Even I had to admit that some of the exhibits were lackluster, but it's not the artist's fault that my life is crazy sometimes. But the display we're at now has even me stumped. The juniors were all crowding around a clay sculpture, as Showcase explained it.

(The Young Six ladies and gentlemen)

"What the hay is this?" Gallus asks.

"It clay. What else could it be?" Smolder snarked.

"I think it's a person. Or a pony. No, it's a person and a pony!" Silverstream said.

"Close, but off the mark," Showcase said. "This piece belongs to Hand Craft. Sadly, she had to leave due to an emergency. But she entrusted me to portray her work. Now, can any of you tell me what is happening in this sculpture?" The juniors looked confused as I was about to answer. However, Ocellus beat me to it, which is surprising since her shyness reminds me of Fluttershy.

"I believe its a representative of the merging of our two worlds. How even though we are different, there are many similarities between the two," The young changeling said.

All of us were silent until Showcase finds her voice again. "Yes, that's correct. I was wondering who would get that right. That's very intuitive, young lady," Ocellus blushes at the praise.

"Hey kid, got any idea on how much that lump of mud is worth?"

Everyone turned around to the source f the new voice. There, standing in the hall, were a group of bandits comprised of humans. Two of them were guarding the door as the rest corraled the other guest against the wall, leaving us in the center of the room. All of them were brandishing weapons from Earth. The leader was of average build with a black, long-sleeve shirt, red gloves, combat pants, and boots with blonde hair. He slung a rifle over his shoulder in a casual manner. Everyone went on alert as we huddled together. Twilight and the other teachers stood in front of us as the leader smiles. We were in a bad situation. I didn't know whether or not I should act. I mean, these guys were complete pushovers when it comes to power levels. I guess Neighsay wasn't lying about the rising crime rate. But, I decided to wait before making a move.

"Hey! The boss asked you a question!"

Ocellus flinched at his harsh tone and cowered behind Smolder. "I-I. Um-- Ah!?"

The crook shot his weapon in the air scaring the students. "Come on now, bug girl. I asked real nice-like. I'm not exactly known for my patience!"

"Hey, how about you back off our students, creep," Rainbow Dash demanded.

"Who do you ruffians think you are?" Rarity demanded.

The leader adopted a smile that made Rarity uneasy. "Well, well, well. Check out this, sheila, boys. Oh, where are my manners? I'm Dutch, and we're the repo gang, meaning we aim to repossess these fancy drawings for something more practical. A nice pile of gold sounds about right,"

Surprisingly, Showcase steps forward. "Y-you're wasting your time. None of these pieces are worth anything at the moment. A-at least, not until their out up for bidding,"

"I have connections both here and on Earth who like this stuff. They tell me that art is worth way more..." Dutch then turns his weapon to some of the artists while they cower in fear. "When the person that makes 'em croaks,"

"That's enough!" Twilight spoke with authority. "You won't be threatening anyone anymore! Surrender!"

The group of thugs looked at Twilight in confusion before they start laughing. "Get a load of the pega-corn here. Hah, what a good joke, sheila. Hold up..." Dutch stares more intently at Twilight, a look of realization dons on him. "Will you look at that, it's one of the princesses of fairytale land! She'll be worth way more than any of these doodles here! Tell you what, your majesty, why don't you come along with us, and we'll leave these good freaks alone,"

Twilight and the others merely deadpan at this guy. "Now?" Rainbow asks.

Twilight nods in response. "Now!" With a flick of her wrist, all their weapons flew onto the ceiling. Applejack got her rope out as Rainbow charged forward. She flies around them in a circle until the thugs were close together. Applejack throws her lasso in the air while Starlight follows up by shooting a beam of magic at it. The rope elongates and falls around the thugs. Pinkie and Fluttershy help Applejack pull the lasso until it became a taunt, trapping the gang members. Finally, Rarity uses the remaining length to tie the crooks up, leaving a bow tie knot in the center. Everyone started to cheer while Twilight and girls congratulate themselves. "Good work, girls. The art gallery is safe,"

"Ha. Took you all down in ten seconds flat!" Rainbow said as she checks her wristwatch to confirm.

"It wasn't hard against a bunch of muscle-bound, dishonest, thieves!" Applejack scolded.

"you all should be very ashamed of yourselves! Bringing in dangerous weapons, and trying to take other creatures work is despicable," Fluttershy berated.

"Yeah, think of all the other humans you're giving a bad name!" Pinkie added.

Dutch closes his eyes in mock embarrassment. "Oh, you're right, Shiela. Oh, if my mother could see me now,"

Rarity flicks her muzzle up at the gang leader. "Save your breath, darlings. Scoundrels like him are hardly worth it!"

"Starlight, go notify the royal guard. I'm sure they'll be happy to have these miscreants processed!' Twilight stated. Starlight nodded and teleported away.

"Way to go, teach!" Gallus cheered.

"Yeah, that was amazing, and also terrifying, but mostly amazing!" Silverstream exclaimed.

"T-Thank goodness," Ocellus said in relief.

"That was way more than I was expecting from an art trip. I might go to one more often," Sandbar said.

Smolder crosses her arm in annoyance as she huffs out some smoke. "Speak for yourself. Now, it got boring again!"

"Yona, don't get it. Robe pony said human crooks were bad. But these crooks ard bad at being bad,"

A chuckle from Dutch caught our attention. "Hear that boys, the lizard wants more excitement. Good thing I picked up this little beaute..." Dutch dug in his pocket to pull out a capsule. Before we could react, it emitted a screeching noise. The ponies all fell to their knees and covered their ears.

"Scootaloo!!!" I ran to her side as she screamed. I doubt she could focus her Ki at this point. It was hard to make their screams from the device's shrieking. The other creatures were affected as well, leaving them disoriented. Even Smolder had trouble standing. "What have you done!?" Whatever that sound emitter was, it was only affecting the creatures of Equis.

Dutch laughs as he and the gang member retrieved their weapons. "A nifty little keepsake from Capsule Corp. Them Briefs sure make some fun toys. It reigns in unruly animals real good-like, ain't that right princess?" Twilight couldn't respond, none of could do anything outside of screaming. "Alright, gents, round up the princess and her friends. That big score I promise is waiting for us! Hell, take a few of the doodles while you're at it!" The thugs started to move towards the girls, but I wasn't going to let that happen. I stood in from of Twilight and took a fighting stance. Dutch slaps his hand to his head as he laughs.

"Gohan, don't!"

"He'll kill you!"

"Get back here!"

The voices Elisa and the others were drowned out by that sound emitter. I knew I was risking exposure, but I'm not about to let this jerk touch my friends. "I'd listen to you, buddies, poindexter. Otherwise..." He levels his gun to my head while smiling maliciously. "You'll find out what happens to heroes in real life!"

"How about you try your luck!" I said with a confident smile.

I felt a hand grab my shoulder as I looked back. Videl leaps over me while pushing me to the other students and kicks Dutch right in the face. The blow staggers him as Videl's boot print was visible on his face. Videl had all of our attention now as she charges forward. Dutch tries to aim his gun, but Videl pivots on her feet and knocks the weapon out of his hands. Dutch to go on the offensive and hurled several punches at her. But it was clear that there was a skill gap between them. Dutch's attacks were wild and unsteady, while Videl's dodging was impressive. She slips underneath a left hook, leaps up, and drives her knee into Dutch's chin. Everyone winces as we saw some teeth fly out while he falls to the ground. Dutch clutches his jaw while Videl stands tall.

"You were saying something about heroes?" Videl mocked.

Dutch removes his hands from his mouth as he stood back up. He was missing three teeth and supporting a busted lip. "Take her out, you idiots!"

Instantly, Videl was on the move. The repo gang opens fires on her. She drew their fire away from us while ducking behind a pillar. This situation was looking bad. Videl may be more durable than these clowns, but she's still vulnerable to bullets. One of the thugs pulls out a grenade to flush her out of cover. However, Videl acts quickly and throws her backpack at him. That maneuver gave Videl her opening as she dashes out of the cover. She jumps up and hooks her legs around his head. Videl shifts her weight and slams the man against the ground. The grenade fell from his grasp and rolled over to the other crooks. They all blinked in confusion before getting away from the explosive. Sadly, they were too slow. The grenade knocks them all down as we shield ourselves. Videl pressed her attack while they recovered. Seeing her approach, many of the repo members pulled out knives. Videl was undaunted, however, as she dodges a swipe meant for her face, Videl drives her elbow into her opponent's stomach before spinning around and slamming another elbow strike on the cheek. Videl's moves on to her next foe as she scores a roundhouse kick to his temple. Videl is amazing! Looking back to Dutch, it was clear he was upset.

"For crying out loud! Jump this brat together, you morons!" Dutch ordered. The rest of the gang members complied as they surrounded Videl. However, Videl dashed after a guy twice her size. She jumps onto his chest and let gravity take over. She planted both her feet against the man's chest and flipped him onto his comrades. "SHE'S MAKING YOU LOOK LIKE AMATEURS!!!"

"Sorry, but that's all on them! Of course, their leader is pretty mediocre himself!" Videl mocked with a smirk.

"You worthless little-- Wait, I've seen your face before!" His eyes went wide as Dutch pointed a shaky finger at Videl. "You're the daughter of that mook, Hercule!!!"

"That mook happens to be the world martial arts champion," Dutch grit his teeth so that I thought they would crack. However, Dutch surprised all of us when he dashed over and took Smolder hostage.

"H-hehe, this changes everything sheila!" He pulls out a knife and places it against Smolder's throat. Smolder was too busy reeling in pain to do much of anything. Dutch slides his sleeve up to reveal a communicator. "Boys! Bring in, Bobo!"

"Let her go now!" I demanded.

"Crook it! I'm in charge-- Aah!?" I recoiled at the sight of Smolder bitting into Dutch's arm. The pain made Dutch drop the sound emitter. Carefully, I focused my Ki through my vision and destroyed it unnoticed. "No!" With the device destroyed, the creatures of Equis slowly recovered. Smolder snarls at the man as she bared her fangs and claws. Scootaloo flexed her wings as she went air born.

"Pick a body part!" Scootaloo said in a low tone.

"All of them!" Smolder replied with a growl.

"Game's over Dutch. Unless you want to try your luck against the champ and an angry dragon," Videl said with a smirk.

In a surprising move, Dutch puts up his left hand as he started counting down. Moments later, a vehicle came crashing through the wall. Dutch quickly ran to the doors and opened them. A hulking beast jumps out of the back. Judging from the white fur, I'd say it was a primate. It wore a chest plate and a mask with unique symbols on it. I was picking up a significant power level from this thing.

Silverstream started hyperventilating at the sight of this creature. "No, it can't be him. Not again!!!"

"Sorry, freak-lovers, I got to skedaddle. But, my friend Bobo here will keep you company!"

And with that last remark, Dutch hops in the front of the car and speeds off. Now only this monster was here. It's breathing was erratic as it looked around the room. Finally, it set its gaze on the other students. Bobo beats his chest before charging at us. Videl stood in the ape's path, intent on protecting us, but this monster was beyond her. Thankfully, Twilight recovered enough to erect a barrier around it. It punches against the shield before lets out a howl. To everyone's shock, Bobo activated his battle aura. None of us could prepare for what happened next. Bobo teleported out of Twilight's barrier - reappearing before Videl. I had to give her credit - Videl doesn't scare easily. The moment she saw Bobo in front of her, she delivers a roundhouse across its temple. But, it was ineffective. I reacted before anyone else. As Bobo raised his right arm, I pushed Videl back with the students, and Bobo struck me across the stomach. My body flew across the art gallery before I crashed into a tapestry.

[Third person POV.]

"Gohan!!!" Videl called out. She tried to rush over to where Gohan had landed, but Bobo barred. He path. Her eyes opened in shock once again as the Yeti went on the attack. However, Bobo's fist found his fist intercept by an irate Scootaloo. "W-what!?"Clenching her fist, the orange pegasus aura flares as she slams her fist into Bobo's torso. Bobo doubles over while Scootaloo finishes the fight with a spinning knee strike to the primate's face destroys the mask in the process. The humans, including Videl, stood in awe.

"Whoa. That guy was twice her size, and she took him out in two hits!" Sharpner said.

"And Videl hit that thing with her best kick while it didn't even flinch!" Ozzy stutters.

"I guess that's why she's the Equis world champ huh," Elisa said in an unsteady tone.

Videl turns back to her friends only for Scootaloo to gain her attention once again. "GOHAN!!!"

Everyone turned over to find Applejack helping Gohan return to the group. Scootaloo rushed over to hug him. "Easy, Scootaloo, I'm fine,"

"You got careless!" Scootaloo lightly scolded, knowing the reason behind Gohan's poor performance.

"You're fine!? Are you crazy? I saw that thing launch you across the room. You must have some broken ribs!" Videl stated.

Gohan forms a placating gesture with his hands. "No worries, Headmare Twilight used her magic to heal me!"

Videl was hardly convinced. "Try to stay out the way next time,"

Gohan rubs the back of his head as he laughs sheepishly. "I'll do my best,"

"Um teach, something's up with Silverstream," Sandbar said. Following Sandbar, everyone saw Silverstream in a fetal position while Ocellus comforts her. "She's in bad shape, but she won't answer us,"

Twilight walks over to the troubled hippogriff as she gently pulls her into a hug. "Shh, it's alright. No one is going to hurt you. We're all safe,"

Despite Twilight's assurances, Silverstream fervently shakes her head. "No! It's him. He's back!!!"

"Whose back sugarcube?" Applejack asks.

Tears threaten to fall from the young Hippogrff's eyes as she points to the unconscious Bobo. "S-S-Storm King...!"

"Storm King?" Gohan asks. He, as well as the others, stood there in confusion as they studied Bobo's features, drawing the majority of their focus was the letter M written on its forehead.

[The next day - Capsule Corporation - Gohan POV.]

After the events of yesterday's field trip, I needed to talk to Bulma. Twilight agreed and made an excuse about my supposed injuries so I could travel to Earth. Upon returning to Earth, I saw that Bulma was having her share of issues. When I found Bulma in her office, she was rubbing her temples as she peered over some papers. And I was about to make her day much worse. "Uh, hey Bulma,"

Bulma looks up to me in surprise before sending me a tired smile. "Hey Gohan, how you been?"

"Not good, to be honest,"

"Urgh! Tell me about it," Bulma got up from her desk and went to the coffee maker. She poured herself a cup and sat back down.

"Well, the number of human criminal activity is starting to escalate. Yesterday on a field trip, some thugs calling themselves the redo gang tried to kidnap Twilight using weapons from Earth. They even had a sound emitter that completely disabled all the planets inhabitants - Scootaloo included!"

Bulma lets out a deep sigh in response. "I know. These letters are all from the countries that came under attack. They're also some strongly worded phrases and some not-so-subtle accusations claiming I'm responsible. Some unicorn, Chancellor Neighsay, accused me of prepping an invasion!"

"Yeah, we met him at the school. He seems..."

"-Like a pompous, self-righteous jerk that hates everything, not a unicorn?"

"I was going to say grumpy, but that works," We shared a laugh as I got back on topic. "Anyway, have you got any idea as to why these weapons are on Equis?"

Bulma adopted a quizzical expression. "I have a few ideas, but none of them should work given the steps I've taken to prevent this mess from happening. From the moment you walk into Capsule corp, we receive notifications for any weapons, thanks to our scanners. Not to mention the fact that Capsule Corp has weapons depart,"

"Maybe they take the weapons apart so that they're harder to detect?" Gohan offers.

Bulma shakes her head. "We have the most sophisticated scanners in the world. I should know, my father and I designed them,"

"What if these crooks have someone helping them within Capsule Corp?"

"That would be the only scenario that makes sense, but we don't let anyone work here, especially after the construction of the portal frame. I'll have to do some digging on my side. We have to solve this problem otherwise we'll have riots on both worlds,"

"There's something else I want to ask you. Well, more like I need a favor,"

"What is it, Gohan?"

"It's clear all these incidents won't until we stop the weapons and their suppliers. The problem is I can't get involved without risking my privacy,"

"Hmm, are you sure that you need to get involved? Equis has plenty of heroes already, and didn't the Earth's president appointed someone to aid with the criminal element?"

Gohan nods in response. "Yeah, her name is Videl. She's the daughter of the current world champion. I don't know much about her father, but I've seen her fight. She handles herself well,"

A knowing smile began to form on Bulma's features. "Oh~, looking to add a human to your little menagerie, Gohan?"

"It's not like that!" Gohan denied, my face turning red. "Before the gang leader escaped, he unleashed this monster that was too much for her. Twilight told me that the top-ranking fighters in Equis are vanishing one by one. I don't know if the criminal activity of humans and the disappearances are related, but I do know that Videl can't fight this by herself. I want to protect her, and my mare friends, along with everyone else on Equis,"

"Still playing the hero after all this time, huh? Let's head to my workshop. It shouldn't take too long to whip something up!" It took about two hours for Bulma to finish whatever she was doing. She got up and handed me a wristwatch. "There we go. All you have to do now is hit this button on the side,"

I studied the wristwatch for a bit before pressing the button. I felt the clothes I was wearing a shift and replaced by something more form-fitting. I felt something appear over the top of my head as my vision went black. "Um, Bulma, I can't see,"

"Not to worry, that helmet you have is special. Head up display; activate.!" Instantly, a blue light flashed before I was able to see again. Several lines of data codes scrolled in front of me. "I've outfitted that helmet with many features that will be of use. A zoom function. Long-range audio detection. A two-way communications link to Capsule Corp. Vital sign display. It can even detect both magic and Ki energy signatures. But most importantly, it can find those weapons. I'll let Twilight know so she can assist you," A frown suddenly forms as Bulma adopts a melancholy attitude. "We have to find whoever is responsible, Gohan. Otherwise, I'll have to shut down the portal frame for good..."

"It won't come to that Bulma. I'll make sure of it! By the way, do you have a mirror?" Bulma brings up a small mirror from her desk. My jaw drops in awe at the sight of my new suit and how cool I looked! "Whoa!!!!"

"So does Equis' new hero has a name?" Bulma asked with a smirk.

Nothing was coming to mind right away, but then inspiration struck. "Since I'm doing this to protect my family's privacy, I should also honor it as well,"

[One week later - Equestria, Baltimare - Third Person POV.]

"Look at them, squirming on the ground. Does that hurt little guard?" The masked thief taunted. Six armed thugs stood in a jewelry store as the patrons and workers squirmed in pain. "These screechers are top of the line boss,"

"They better be for all I paid them for, round up these horses! We got a buyer that has quite a taste for fine jewels!"

"Then you can pay for them like everyone else!" A heroic voice stated. The bandits turned to the doorway to find a man standing there. The light shining from behind him concealed his form. A moment later, there was a flash and a scream. The criminal holding the screecher was now clutching his hand, and the device itself laid broken on the floor.

"Who is this clown?"

The leader aimed his gun while his comrades followed his example. "A dead man!" Before they could fire, the figure raises his hand. With a grunt, a shockwave knocks the criminals to the wall unconscious.

"That takes care of you miscreants," The figure turns to the citizens who were watching him with awe and trepidation. "Nothing to worry about, the royal guard are on their way,"

"Wait, who are you?" A pony asks.

"I am--"

[Two weeks later - Applelossa]

In the out stirks of Applelossa, a train goes by its usual route. However, Three riders were approaching horses from Earth. "Here it is, fellas. The goods on this here train will make us a mint!" The cowboy pulls out a bazooka and locked onto the train. The train robber fires the weapon, causing an explosion. However, the train robbers weren't expecting a flying man emerging from the smoke. "W-what!?"

"Sorry to derail your plans, but your nefarious ways are over!"

A few moments later, the train pulled into the station without issue. The ponies all got out as the masked man landed on the station. The train robbers were all subdued and tied up for the local authorities. The masked man went to address the crowd. "Be sure to notify the princess when the sheriff comes to round these dirty cowpokes,"

"Hold on there, mister. I'm the conductor. I saw that whole scuffle and can't thank you enough for saving my load. Who are you anyway, mister?"

The masked man smirks as she stuck his left arm out in dramatic fashion. "I am--"

[One month later - Prance.]

A speeding truck barrels down the street as several cruisers give chase. The back of the truck opens as burly human primes his chain gun. However, the sudden jolt of the vehicle halted that plan. The burly man clutched his head as he exited the truck. "What's going on here!? The cops are going be on us any second!"

"I'm afraid that you seem to be experiencing some vehicular trouble. But, you should know you can never escape justice!"

Confusion donned on the gunner's features as he goes around the vehicle. The car was now a mangled heap - as if something took a bite out of the engine. It was no street accident, however. A masked individual with a flowing red cape had the driver tuck under his arm. The burly bute of a man snarled as he aimed his weapon. "What's your deal bucket head? You got a death wish!?"

"My only wish is to stop your wrongdoings! Now surrender peacefully!" The masked hero demanded as he drops the driver.

"Eat lead!!!" The chain gun revs up and spews out a barrage of bullets at its target. The sound of bullet casings hitting the field the streets. Although, the sound of an empty chamber soon took over. The gunner's eyes bulged out to at the sight of his target standing virtually unscathed. Shock and awe gave way to anger as the gunner hoist his weapon above his head, intending to smash his foe. He never got the chance as the masked her slams his fist into the man's jaw.

The police force finally caught up as a news crew rushed to their masked savior. "Astonishing! In the middle of a daring mid-day robbery, a masked human appears out of nowhere and defeated the robbers. Let's see if we can get an exclusive. Excuse me, sir. The world wants to know who is there new savior?"

"No problem, madam. Allow me to introduce myself - I am..." The masked man brings his right arm over his left shoulder as he spreads his feet. "The unmitigated champion of harmony and peace!" He shifts his stance, raising his right and left arm slightly above his head with all his fingers spread out. He bends his right knee in the air while balancing on his left leg. "The bane of evil wherever it may hide!" He spreads out both his arms while rapidly tapping on his toes. Then shifts his stance again as he puts his right hand on the ground with his left arm going straight in the air. Finally, he forms a cross with both arms against his chest. "The protector of the innocent..." The masked hero ends his bizarre induction ritual by making a semi-circle that ends with putting his fingertips over his helmet. "The Great Saiyaman!!!"

[Equestria - School of friendship, Cafeteria - Videl's POV.]

I didn't know what to say. I was sitting with Elisa, Sharpner, and Ozzy in the school's lunchroom. One of the juniors came rushing in - that hippogriff Silverstream - with a mini-view. On-screen was some a robbery in progress in New Eqluland, Prance. Then, all of a sudden, some joker in black and green tights show up and takes the thugs out. Now he was introducing myself as the Great Saiyaman with the lamest stances I've ever seen! I must've been the only one whose mouth hit the floor. Everyone else was acting like he was the coolest thing in both worlds!

"Can you all believe it? A real-life hero here in Equis!" Silverstream exclaimed. So I don't count because I don't wear some stupid get up!

"And he's a human too!" Ocellus said.

"I think this guy needs to have a chat with his tailor!" Gallus said while holding back his laughter. Glad I wasn't the only one.

"He doesn't look that tough. I don't see the big deal," Smolder said with disinterest.

"Yona like him! He smashes bad guys!"

"You think the princesses called him from Earth?" Sandbar asked. "Do you know him, Videl?"

I felt a hot flush of embarrassment hit my face at the remark. "No, I don't. The princesses didn't say anything to me about this clown!"

"Oh~, is someone's jealous? It looks like Great Saiyaman is stealing your thunder," Elisa teased.

"Hardly! If this guy's a hero, then why show up out of the blue? He couldn't be helping out as soon as this crime wave started!"

"It does look like he's showing off for the camera," Ozzy noted.

"Yeah, like straight out of a comic book," Sharpner added.

I nodded in agreement. "This Great Saiyaman is not what I'd call a hero. Why wear the mask? What is he hiding?"

"To protect his secret identity, duh!" Sandbar said. "We should talk to Headmare Twilight. She might know him,"

"Good idea. Let us," I said as I got up and walked away. I could hear several footsteps behind me, but I didn't look back. I wanted answers! As I reached Twilight's office, I couldn't help but think about how familiar the Great Saiyaman felt. Around this same time, I noticed Gohan was still absent. Could he be-- "Ok, Videl, don't be absurd. Regardless, it's just another question for Miss Headmare,"
