Are both the sisters and Discord "Gamers" too? Like Button? Are they aware of what he can do? This is starting to mess with me.
Also, why did he do EVERYTHING possible to get his perk noticed by everybody instead of hiding his OP perk? As we all know that's not a good idea. So why is he doing exactly that? I would have lied all the way to Heck and back to hide it even from my mother. There's NO WAY anyone could get away with that especially in Equestria where there's a new big villain every week that would jump at the opportunity of using him and his power.
I get that everyone has a perk to use. But is everyone able to see their stats and stuff like in some fantasy anime? That would ease this "How does everybody know everything about him already" feeling I'm getting... Since they might have something close to the observe skill to use. or just could assume. But I don't like the fact that everyone in power just knows outta nowhere that he can set back reality to whatever point he wants and alter parts about it. They WILL abuse this if they know. Will he even attempt to be careful and hide his abilities from now on? Or will plot armor just stop all the big-shots from messing with him even though they know he can alter reality and himself in a way that would even attract discords attention?
The original Gamer comic made sure that the MC would have to hide his abilities like his life and liberty would depend on it (Because of course it would that's OP and everyone would want it)
I'm sorry if this just sounds like I'm bashing the story. But literally, every single other story provides an incentive to be careful about others knowledge of the MCs abilities since it would obviously lead to trouble. Why can he just announce it to the world and no one thinks "Hey, I would like to become powerful by manipulating this foolish child." Seriously. There's a LOT of bad guys in MLP and every single one of them would want the benefits he could bring.
I'll still watch since there are still so few Gamer stories that actually focus on the system and not being some displaced story focusing far to hard on crossovers.

1: The sisters (as well as Twilight and Cadence, to a lesser extent) are treated as goddesses for the purpose of this story. Much like in Scion, but they share the same Pantheon.
2: Cheerilee has a high Manipulation score (and overpowered Button's) and his mother has a high Perception score (Which Button knows his mother would use as leverage to guilt trip him), as moms do.
3: Gaia stopped people with Abilities who have a major impact on the world. As of the moment, Button isn't doing any harm as such, and Ponyville is pretty much treated as a Close Knit Community/Adventure Town for the nonce.
