Nice chapter, about the length of the chapter I think long or short are both ok as long as you know where to finish them so that you leave the reader satisfied but also expecting more, a good example is your four chapter.
My chapter are from 4000 to 7000 words but I'm only publishing them weekly so that I have time to do adjustments and not interfere with my daily work but sometimes it gets jammed and i leave it in a bad end.
I never really liked Big Mac x Rainbow Dash stories but I decided this one looked intresting so I looked at it and I actually really like this story!

It only just hit me that both of our stories center around Big Mac dating one of AJ's friends, I remember reading a couple more with the same idea but different character like Twilight in one and Fluttershy in another one, haven't see him paired with Rarity or Pinkie in secret yet.

I still have yet to make a pony related story, but I will let you know that I am working on one. With my ideas, I don't use herds. Big Mac would most likely be with Rainbow Dash in a future pony story of mine, but not all of my pony stories would be based on those two.
