Sunset Shimmer and her friends in the human world are ready for spring break! They have a week to do whatever they want and for the first three days they have decided to camp in the woods near Applejack's family farm. After what happened at Camp Everfree, they are making sure that this trip isn't interrupted by any magical phenomena. Too bad what they discover isn't magical in nature but rather mechanical and extraterrestrial. Earth is being secretly invaded by a faction of hostile aliens and the group which has any hope of stopping them is on the run across the stars. Now, Sunset Shimmer and her friends need to help stop the invasion of Earth while keeping the whole thing a secret.
I know that "I wouldn't say heroes...." is nowhere near finished (its only got three chapters as of writing) but this idea poped into my head last night and I had to write it down. My plan is to update both this and "I wouldn't say heroes...." at about the same time so if you see one gain a chapter then expect the other to receive a new one a few hours to a day later. You have permission to shout if I forget.
The gore tag is for the series I'm crossing over with. It's not that bad (for humans, anyway) but its better to be safe rather than sorry.
Off to a really good start and can't wait to see what you do with this. I especially like that (atleast at first it looks like) Sunset and company will not be receiving any Autobot support which iell give them a real chance to shine as way too many of these crossovers have it mainly as transformers fighting transformers with the ponies (or humans) as little more than hostages, fyi I saw Bumblebee too and loved it for many reasons but for purposes here I feel like they nailed human involvement having Charlie help without going full on action hero like Mark Wahlberg from the previous movies and hope you can do something like that (though of course considering that these girls actually have magic powers it would be cool to go at least a little bit into the action hero directions just don't push it to far, even with super strength Applejack probably couldn't one punch Megatron)
Also having the cute character moments without Twilight talking about her BO and all was hilarious and really helps to show that the end of the day these are just normal friends hanging out and talking despite the magic (and now alien) adventures they get into
In summation really liked this and can't wait to see the next chapter

Both the Autobots and some surprise guests will be showing up later on but don't worry! Its going to be a while before they have the chance to give any real assistance to the Humane 7.
The girls are going to have a really hard time doing any damage as well. Especially since the Decepticons here are way more powerful than usual. They did catch and kill Ironhide without anyone realizing they have a presence on Earth, afterall!
Also, I thought Charlie's role in Bumblebee was expertly done as well! I never really thought Mark Wahlberg's action hero shtick was that realistic for the character either.

Loving the mix of continuities here. I'm seeing Prime/IDW with Megatron's origin and the basics of the war, the live action movies with Barricade's role on Earth and the mention of Decepticons on Mars and if I'm not mistaken Armada with them actually having a base on Mars (though the similarity to the Moon base from Armada might just be coincidental, regardless I still enjoyed it)
Can't wait to see what happens when Barricade runs into Sunset or Twilight (and if Princess Twiight is gonna get involved since Shockwave mentioned her and I can only imagine what the Decepticons would do if they found out about a portal to a whole other world filled with this "energy" they discovered)
But, Transformers doesn't have any gore in it! Do Cybertronians even have blood?
