Sometimes, when you fall out of love, you fall face flat. Sunset makes the most of it.

And it’s a slow afternoon when Twilight decides to join her.

Two days, two pretty excellent stories. You've got a very nice style, blending in little bits of the characters mental states with the conversation.

Very sweet interaction. You really seem to get a good dynamic with them, and how they're all helping in their own ways even if talking isn't what they are best at. Like Dash, and Sci-Twi.

My last breakup was like that. It was good, but completely different from most of my previous ones in that it wasn't a disastrous train wreck. And I didn't really know how to deal with that. So definitely feeling Sunset here.

This is realistic--maybe too realistic. The description and picture imply it's a story about Sunset, but it seems to be a story about Twilight. Or not a story about anything at all. I can't figure out what Twilight wants. Maybe that's because Twilight can't figure out what she wants, but then what we have is a narrative going from ? to ?. A true slice-of-life. Which, as always, raises the question why one tells a story, and why another one reads it. Or whether there is some category of fictional narrative other than "story" that's worth telling and reading.

Definitely felt like a Sci-Twi character piece. Adorable, well-meaning, but entirely out of her depth. Their relationship seems very comfortable. I liked it a lot.

I mean, fuck yeah.

Tranquil.

Magnificent. Of course, Sci-Twi and Sunset being supportive with one another is always an easy sell for me, but this was still a wonderful read. And Twilight's attempt to be badass was indeed adorable.

Sunset is adaptive, approachable, and completely put-together while Twilight knows how to be but can’t quite put it in practice.

Oof, that's just a little too relatable.

This is a really lovely piece.

So, with as much indifference as she can muster – she even slumps her shoulders a bit – Twilight nods and tries to raise just one eyebrow as she says, “Fuck yeah.”

I died

kul

I got nothing to say that hasnt been said by anyone here. Love your work. I finally find someone to binge read now.

Though the focus seemed to be more on Twilight and how she processes her observations, I think this was a very insightful piece on the characters of both Sunset and Twilight. Nice read.

Sometimes they ask Twilight something. She answers as best as she can, but her focus is on Sunset.

Seems like she must be hiding something important that has to do with sunset. :rainbowderp:

Twilight connects the most to Sunset: smart, logical, and a bit of an outcast. But then, they’re completely different: Sunset is adaptive, approachable, and completely put-together while Twilight knows how to be but can’t quite put it in practice.

Not to mention isn't human and is really a unicorn from another world. 🙄

That was not the response I was expecting. 😧
