And to do it publicly like that instead of in PM? The only reason to do that is to be seen doing it. Which you would only need to do if you don't actually have followers of your own who will already see it on your own page and come here to read it because of that.

Given Luna's excoriation of brand advertising in this fic, it's actually really ironic.
Bit of a nitpick. But I think "My Little Monkey" works better, as a Ponyfied version of My Little Pony (we're monkeys/apes, in the same way Ponies are horses). And I don't think "Harry Potter" needs to be Ponyfied, except for spelling it "Hairy". "Hairy Potter" is the kind of name you'd expect to see in Equestria.
I relate to this maby going back to the roots would have me despising chrismas a little less

Monkeys aren't apes.
And they already have a Hairy Potter, that's Star Swirl the Bearded, creator of amniomorphic (clay shaping) spell.
Strictly speaking: Humans are apes, not monkeys. But I think "My Little Monkey" sounds better then "My Little Ape".
I thought it was good. It sounded like Christmas with my brother. That last part reminded me of the joke and Santa and the Angel.
Santa was having a bad day. It was two days till Christmas. Three reindeer were down with the flu, the elves were threatening to go on strike, the candy cane machine was on the fritz, and no one could locate the Nice List! Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Santa opened it and there was a little angel with a decorated Christmas tree.
"Hello, Santa," said the angel in a cheerful voice. "Isn't it a wonderful day? I've brought you a Christmas tree! Where would you like me to stick it?"
And THAT is how the tradition of putting an angel at the top of the tree came to be.
