This story is a sequel to Flurry Heart Makes Pudding

Did you honestly think that was the end of it?

When the castle is left without any cookies under... mysterious circumstance, there's only one pony that can fix this misdeed and help save Christmas!

Let's just hope she can make them in time before she gets caught...

* No cookies were harmed in the making of this story.

Another continuation of his great materials. I hope this lives up to the legacy. :facehoof:

So are both of the royal sisters pranksters or something?

Merry Christmas! :)

Merry Christmas to you too!

9366392
Yes.

... What does this have to do with the fic? x3

9366515
Why would Luna be hiding in the kitchen?

9366677
That's... the joke.

Luna was expecting her. As the Princess of Dreams, of course it's her duty to guard every part of the night, kitchens included.

9366815
Well, this explains a recurring dream I've been having...

I am lost. How did Twilight end up as a filly here? And if this is before the show, why's Luna here? Explanations would help a lot here.

9367079
Luna apparently pranked Twilight by hiding in the kitchen and Twilight is probably just playing along with the joke. As a princess, she probably has to spend a lot of time with the royal family, so she will have to get used to them.

9367637
Twi is actually a folly here. Luna's just there because "alternate universe" and I didn't want to correct it.

9367853
Just out of curiosity, is there a definition of "folly" that I don't know about? (I thought it meant "foolishness", so do you mean that she was a fool?)

On most keyboards, however, "I" and "O" are right next to each other, so do you mean "filly", which, at least in the MLP universe, may come from the French word "fille", meaning "girl", meaning Twilight was younger?

9367905
Yeah, that was a phone typo. I did mean filly.

There's no need to overthink things so much.

9368032
So what happened with Nightmare Moon? Was she banished from Luna's body by Celestia and the Elements of Harmony, only to return and take control of Luna again? (You know what? That actually would be a good explanation as to why Luna is still alive in the series and hasn't died from asphyxiation: she was never physically on the moon at all; only the evil being that took control of her was.)

9371442
That actually sounds like a good explanation. Though, I always thought of it it as Luna being trapped inside the moon, as some sort of incorporial manifestation, hence why it had an image of NMM on its surface.

9371476
I thought that her being inside the moon was a mistranslation between French and English or something. In English, we say "I go TO Canada" and "I go TO France", but in French, they say "I go TO Canada", but they also say "I go IN France". I don't know how that could have been lost in any translation at all, but I do know that one of the voice actresses may have ties to Canada (or may even be Canadian herself), so perhaps one of the writers was a French-speaking Québécois and they hadn't made all of the necessary interpretations. I don't know whether or not this is true, but do you think that it's possible?

9371543
The legend was always titled "The mare in the moon" (a play on Man In The Moon), though all mentions of the story says she was was banished to the moon, which can be taken ambiguously in English.

It could be interpreted either way.

Lovely Christmas story and your rhymes are very good: poetry and prose. Happy New Year.
