But seriously, if you've spent time, energy and resources, not to mention countless hours slaving over the anvil hammer in hand just to up and give all your time and effort away for practically nothing? That just doesn't make much sense at all.
I'm an amateur blacksmith and while I would make a few projects and give them away as gifts I would most certainly not just give away the stock he did on a whim. I'd have put to much care into making those and would want something for my troubles.
