Broken mirror
Twilight was in her castle library relaxing while reading a book. Her royal duties had became more stressful over time, and with her being a princess for twenty years Celestia thought that Twilight was ready for more responsibilities.
While reading, Twilight saw a letter land right in front of her. Flipping it over, she smiled at the sight of Celestia's seal. A quick flick of her horn parted the seal and unfurled the letter.
Dear Twilight
Recently, my sister and I have found the location of Starswirl's secret lab.
Why he kept it secret is beyond the both of us, he never keeps secrets from us.
Since Starswirl is your idol, my sister and I sister decided that you should have the
honors of going there and seeing what he wanted to keep secret.
I know you'll want to know where it is, so I want you to come to
Canterlot so I may give you what you need. I hope to see you soon.
Your friend,
Celestia
By the time Twilight finished the letter her eyes were wide and she had an excited smile.
"Celestia found Starswirl's old lab! And she wants me to go there." Twilight squealed in excitement and bounced in place before stopping and gasping. "Celestia wants me in Canterlot, I have to get going."
Lighting her horn, she teleported to Canterlot.

Celestia had just finished writing Twilight the letter. She rolled it up and placed a wax seal on it bearing her Cutie mark.
"Twilight will be so happy when she learns that we found Starswirl's old lab." Celestia gave a soft smile while looking at the letter before sending it to Twilight.
Before Celestia even had time to brew some tea, she heard the sound of a teleportation spell behind her. Turning around she was met with a smiling Twilight.
"Hello Twilight, I take it you got my letter." She joked.
"Yes! Where is it where is it where is it."
Celestia laughed, not her normal rehearsed laugh, but a real laugh. When she is around Twilight or her sister, Celestia could drop her mask and be herself.
Twilight furrowed her brows. "What's so funny?"
She let out another laugh. "Oh nothing. Would you like to join me for tea?"
Twilight still had her brows furrowed but eventually let up and nodded.
Celestia smiled then brewed their tea. When it was done, she poured both of them a cup and set them down on her table. Both royals sat at the table and took a sip of the tea.
"Twilight."
"Yes Celestia?"
"I need to tell you something very important." Celestia's tone had become serious and she hear the concern in Twilight's voice when she replied
"You can tell me anything princess."
"Starswirl experimented with time travel, and travel between dimensions. He did so in a secret lab that even my sister and I didn't know the location of. His journal held some of what he was doing but not a lot of it. One day he just stopped talking about it entirely. My sister and I believe that the lab we found is the same lab that he conducted those experiments in, and we would like you to be the first to see it."
Celestia could hear the awe in Twilight's voice when she finally spoke. "I would be honored to be the first to see his lab after so long."
Celestia smiled then nodded. "Very well Twilight." She then levitated a map to Twilight. "This map has the location of Starswirl's lab."
Twilight took the map in her magic then gave Celestia a hug. "I won't let you down. I'll be sure to tell you what I find."
Celestia returned the hug. "I have all the faith in the world in you, and your ability to succeed. Good luck Twilight."
As the hug ended Twilight took the map in her magic and unfurled it. Twilight's eyes widened when she saw the location. "I had no idea that the lab was so close to us."
"Indeed. None of us would have guessed that his lab was in the Everfree forest. Then again, having the lab in the Everfree is a smart idea; as no one would dare to go in there."
"Well, I better get going. Thanks again Celestia."
"You are very welcome Twilight."
With that Twilight lit her horn and teleported to the Everfree forest.

After a long and dangerous walk through the Everfree forest, Twilight found the lab. It was run down with mold growing on the wood and some of the windows were broken. Vines had grown all over the place making it theirs.
Twilight went up to the lab, opened the door, and walked inside. Inside there were broken and rotting bookshelves with books that fell apart over time. The tables and chairs were also rotted. Other than that, there was nothing here.
"There's nothing in here." Twilight began to think then after awhile she found the answer. "That's it, Starswirl wanted to keep his work secret so he probably has a hidden switch or something nearby"
Twilight looked around the place trying to find the hidden switch. She pulled worn books off the shelves to see if one of them was the switch, but to no avail.
She was about to give up when she threw one of the books at the bookcase and it went right through it.
Twilight face hoofed. "Why didn't I think of that?"
She used her magic to move the bookcase, revealing a set of stairs heading down. After casting a quick light spell she made her way down the stairs.
When she reached the bottom, she used her magic and extended the light, illuminating the entire room. On the other side of the room there was a desk with a book, and behind the table were four mirrors big enough for a pony to see their entire body. Three of these mirrors were intact, while one was shattered.
Twilight walked up to the desk and opened the book to the last entry by Starswirl
Over the time that I have studied dimensions and time travel I have discovered four unique dimensions. Each mirror is a gateway to that dimension. The first mirror has a dimension with Princess Luna as the eldest sister. The second has both princesses as stallions. The third mirror has a dimension with Equestria in constant war and the fourth is world that is too horrible to speak about so I destroyed the mirror to that dimension so no one will ever know about it. I can only pray that no one ever finds this book and the mirrors.
Starswirl
Twilight closed the book and looked at the broken mirror. "A world too horrible to speak about. I'll have to see this for myself."
Using her magic, Twilight repaired the mirror to look just like new then placed her hoof on the glass. The glass rippled before Twilight walked through the mirror and into the other world.

Evil dimension
After using the elements on my sister turned Nightmare Moon, I had hoped that they would have killed her but instead they sent her to the moon. Useless elements. So after almost a thousand years I took on a student by the name of Twilight Sparkle. I was going to use her to kill my sister for me with the Elements as they wouldn't respond to me anymore. But plans change. After taking her on as my student at a young age I had taught her how to defend herself and how to attack and counter. Over the years, as I watched her grow, I developed strange feelings. I thought they were feelings of pride, and dare I say, happiness for Twilight. But I was wrong, oh so wrong.
Evil dimension- 20 years ago
The rainbow blast hit Nightmare Moon but before it could take effect she launched one final spell at Twilight. A spell to destroy her heart and kill her instantly. The spell hit its mark before the rainbow power cleansed Luna, returning her to normal.
When the six lowered back to the ground, Twilights heart exploded inside her and blood came out of her mouth and eyes before falling over and dying.
Solar Flare appeared to congratulate Twilight on killing her sister, but what she saw was Luna turned back to normal, and Twilight on the ground dead.
Solar Flare's eyes widened as she stared at Twilight's dead body. It was at that moment that she knew that those strange feelings were not pride or happiness for Twilight....... It was love. It was love that she felt for Twilight.
Solar Flare went up to Twilights dead body and cradled her in her hooves while she cried. Never before has she felt sadness for anypony, much less love. But when she did feel it, it tore her apart. It tore her cold heart apart knowing that the one and only pony that she loved and cared about was dead in her hooves and the ones that did it were in the room with her.
Laying Twilights dead form gently on the ground, Solar Flare got up and looked at the other five with pure rage.
"You. Didn't. Protect her."
Before any of them could say anything, Solar Flare yelled out in anguish before burning them all alive. She turned around and then faced Luna.
"You. Killed. Twilight."
"Sister wai-"
Luna began to plead, but didn't even have time to finish her sentence before being turned to ash. Solar Flare looked down at the pile of ash with no emotion. "I should have done that long ago."
Turning her head, Solar Flare looked back towards Twilight and picked her up in her hooves before teleporting out of the ruined castle.
Reappearing in her personal gardens in Canterlot, Solar Flare used her magic and constructed mausoleum in the middle of the gardens. She opened the door and walked inside with Twilights body in her magic. When she opened the coffin that rests in the middle of the mausoleum, Solar Flare summoned hundreds of violets and white roses then placed them in the coffin before gently placing Twilight in the coffin.
Before she closed the coffin, Solar Flare looked at Twilight one last time and kissed her forehead.
"I love you, Twilight."

Evil dimension- present day
Twilight came out of the mirror and looked around the room that she was in. "This looks like Princess Celestia's room." She walked over to a night stand and looked at a picture frame with a photo of her and her former mentor. 'Why does Celestia look so different?'
Twilight's head turned to the door when she heard the sound of hoof steps getting closer. Twilight began to panic and looked around the room for a place to hide before she would be seen.
Before moving, Twilight heard the familiar sound of her former mentor's voice on the other side of the door. The door opened and Solar Flare walked in.
She let out an annoyed sigh. "That makes five that I've killed today." Looking up, Solar Flare froze in place when she saw who was in front of her.
Twilight looked at Celestia and took in her features. Her sun cutie mark had a black circle in the middle of it; her mane was short, dull and dark. A crown with horns was on her head and her eyes looked the same but her pupils were slits.
"Is that you Celestia?" Twilight asked confused as to why Celestia looked so different.
Solar Flare couldn't believe her eyes. Twilight was standing right in front of her. She looked into her eyes then her own eyes widened for a second. 'It's Twilight. I know those beautiful violet eyes and that melodic voice anywhere .'
Finally, after being still like a statue, Solar Flare smiled then spoke as a single tear came down her face.
"I've missed you, Twilight."

It's always seemed a bit rude to simply leave a list of errors as a comment, at least when the author hasn't asked to have any mistakes pointed out, but if you'd find it useful I could PM you a list of the errors I did notice.

To answer your question, I might not ever update my stories again because people have been PMing me, putting me down and belittling me. They tell me 'I'm not good enough' or tell me that 'I should stop writing because I can't write at all'. There's more but I'd be here all day listing every reason why I should stop writing.
I did my best to ignore them and continue on with my stories, but they just kept coming. There is only so much one can take before they finally quit, and I'm at my breaking point. I also suffer from 3 separate types of depression, making it so much harder for me to ignore this.
I am clinging to a very small thread that is just about to break and I don't know what to do. I'm sorry that I may never update again. It pains me that I might let down all the people that enjoy my work. I will try to update this but I won't make any promises.

well i'm soo sorry that people have to be dick asses and put others down ... if people don't have anything nice to say well DON'T say it at all ... ok constructive criticism is ok along with spotting grammar errors but what their doing i view it as bullying and maybe even cyber bullying especially when your DMing it to others ... that's just low ... do they not have anything better to do than give out put downs ... but i get where your coming from ... i know its hard to see the light when a few bad can dim the light easily ... with that said if ya decide not to update i'm fine with that ... at least don't do what other users do an put on hiatus forever instead mark it as canceled ... PS: i'm bad at English so i'm bad at spotting errors sometimes but if their saying that your a bad writer well instead of a bad comment or worse a DM to you maybe they should offer to help you so you can become a better writer and improve ... its like people don't care about the golden rule: Treat Others how YOU want to be treated
