I never quite understood why people don’t like anthro around here. To each their own, sure. But like, it’s your favourite horse characters but in a form that’s familiar to you as a person. Who wouldn’t want that?

feral is more unique and fully human is more familiar. I don't see anthro as best of both worlds but a less interesting or more awkward depending on the point of reference. also, most anthro body stiles just look awkward whether its human with wings that seem even more out of place or closer to feral were the neck never seems to work.

Feral may be the more unique of the two, but it’s a bit too similar to, y’know, a horse. The idea of writing about horses banging is...a little too close to bestiality zones imo.
Anthro can be weird or awkward depending on how it’s done, but when it’s done right, it really works. As for the whole human with wings, if they’re outwardly human then they’re not anthro right? I dunno. I just write what works.

Because most anthro writers are awful. Simply mentioning that X character has hands and a humanoid shape doesn’t make them an anthro. Done poorly, it’s the same as using a generic human with a fan service name slapped on. (Ie. Anon)

There might be some more. I can certainly think of a few interactions that would be fun to write about it. Especially one between Sunset and Twilight. Assuming Luna and Sunset do usurp the throne as intended.

Just adding my own two cents to the mix, here:
Two animals having sex within their own species is not bestiality. But even more to the point, if an animal were sentient, nearly every single argument about bestiality would immediately be crushed, as it is then capable of informed consent.
For me, I do not like anthro for many reasons, but the primary reason is really simple: I'm here to read about ponies. And anthro are not ponies. If I just wanted to read stuff about anthro characters, there's a million furry sites out there with plenty of content.
I have no idea what the fuck I just read but it got the job done so +1.
Knowing Sunset, once she'll return back she'll give the Rainbooms a surprise no one's ever forget.
If Sunset felt the need to return to the human world, I'm sure Luna would happily let her go with her blessing.
I always figured Luna would sympathize with Sunset and see a kindred spirit in her due to their similar rocky pasts with Celestia. Though this is certainly a unique take on it.
Despite the description not mentioning it, given the whole 'Celestia and Luna are super tall futas' thing and Luna making reference to events similar to those in Luna Returns..., I'm gonna assume this story (along with Dream Date) are in the same universe as Yet Another Intersex Equestria World or at least very well could be.
