Celestia in canon: showed so much regret over sending Luna to the moon that one of the fandom's most popular songs (and one of my personal favorites, bias alert) is literally her apologizing for letting Luna down when she needed her sister most.
Celestia in this story: My sister just got back from the moon and her feelings for me might turn out to be some misplaced psychological representation of that. But she's a perv, so who the hell cares? To the moon, bee-yotch!
As much as Princest is a NOTP for me, it didn't bother me near as much as Celestia's reaction. I was willing to read it to see if it did anything with the ship, but that reaction just killed it for me. The short length of this story also made it seem like Celestia went from 0 to 100 pretty damn fast. I didn't see any real grammatical errors, but the pacing and characterization were all over the place. That was what got me in the end, not the ship.
