In my head canon, they could make money from asteroid mining. Use an overpowered divination spell to find an asteroid with vaulable minerals and their equally overpowered TK abilities to haul it down to Equestria safely. Unfortunately, Equestria isn't advanced enough to have artificial satellites, or they could also sell launch services. Tapping Celestia's sun to create small, self sustaining thaumo-nuclear fusion power plants would be another option.
If I were offered the opportunity to design my own, lucid dream, I'm not sure I would waste it on a simple porn fantasy. Heck, just getting to meet Luna would be a fantastic thing.
However, it's not like I could afford enough money to make it worth her while anyway.

You stole my idea. I literally thought up this exact same premise (Luna as a dream prostitute; selling wet dreams to ponies for mullah) around July-ish. I just never actually followed through with it because I kind of suck at fleshing out a premise.
I like the little details you added in though. I never even considered the possibility that Luna could influence the dreams of ponies (or people) in other universes. That'll open up so many more avanues for crazy (and sexy) scenarios that wouldn't have existed otherwise.. Also, the fact that she's selling fantasies in general and not only wet dreams was a nice touch . . . same goes for her motivation behind the business itself. The fact that Luna apparently blew through the entire royal treasury just to get a bunch of ludicrously expensive but worthless knickknacks is absolutely hilarious. I honestly never would have thought of something like that. Good job.
Edit: on a side note, the first customer was obviously paying in some sort of real world currency, be it U.S./Canadian dollars, British pounds, etc. Regardless, it's obviously going to be completely different from bits. Not sure what Luna plans to do about that discrepancy
