You find yourself strolling home after a day at school. In your arms, was a brown, cardboard box, which contained a certain thing inside.

You take it home to investigate- And might as well, spend some time with this something you’ve found.

Besides, whose heart wouldn’t be melted by Princess Flurry Heart?

Inspired by My Little Dashie. Also, finally decided to add cover arts! You can find the original art here, and special thanks to my best friend irl for helping me modify the drawing!

Ok This Definitely warrants a sequel in the future

This is definitely going into my “cute stories” bookshelf.

It's things like this that make the fans look bad. I'm not saying we're as bad as anthros/furries, but still.

You gasp and close the lid to avoid her getting seen by anyone. You look around, making sure no one is here to suspect you, then you take the box and rush back home, without even thinking whether it’s wise or not.

Her being seen by anyone.

:facehoof:

If the character didn't know Flurry Heart from MLP, then why the hell did the character expect her to be able to talk?!

I seriously doubt that the process of turning on the computer, booting up the game of choice, hitting up friend to play as teammates, getting into a match, waiting in a lobby and playing through a match took less than 15 minutes.:ajbemused:

You don't get a cold from being literally cold. You get a cold from a virus.:twilightangry2:

Cadence was slacking pretty damn hard!!
It's not a good idea to slap a sticky note that says "be nice to my baby" on the box that your infant is in, when your baby is sitting in an alien world!!
Cadence doesn't seem like the type to roll the dice on a benevolent alien taking care of Flurry.
Remember the episode where Twilight babysits Flurry, and Shining Armor and Cadence are crying because they've been away from Flurry for the afternoon?
A more reasonable plan for Cadence (and perhaps better story) is stay with Flurry, and hide with Flurry in nearby forest or fields to try and recharge. When resting to recharge is proving difficult from lack of shelter and scarce food and water, then Cadence goes and asks locals for a place to rest so she can return home. Then the protagonist takes the two in for the night.
A sorta comedic ending would require Cadence not being able to find Flurry earlier. At night, when the protagonist is cuddling Flurry, Cadence and Shining Armor suddenly teleport in. Both very frantic, and Shining Armor ready to cut a swath of death and destruction until he finds Flurry.
They find Flurry, grab her, and immediately leave by teleporting back to Equestria without explanation. Just leave protagonist scared, shocked, and confused.

I take it that you don't have friends, or adult siblings with babies or young children.
Good parents are INCREDIBLY protective of their babies.
For a lot of new parents letting their baby spend the night away from them, is really hard! Some new parents have a rough time of leaving their kid at day care.

You kiss her back on the muzzle, making her let out a giggle. After looking around, making sure your parents aren’t around in your room, you fold open Flurry’s left wing to wrap around your head. Like a loving parent, you kiss the filly. When your lips come into contact with hers, she blushes.
