Please be patient, I’m INTJ.

Deep within the Equestrian Guard, there exists an elite force, deployed for strategic defensive operations. These are the ponies...

Who are totally nothing like that force I was just talking about.
They're not even ponies, actually.
They're just four guys who managed to crash a plane carrying a super-weapon into Equestria.

But now, they're here, and that other force that I mentioned earlier sucks at their job, so now it's up to the men of Bad Company, armed with their skills, a heavily armored van, and all the guns that they could pack into it, to pick up the slack against a Storm of foes, with the help of both newfound friendships and explosive ordinances.

Follow the campaign of this not-so-specialist team of soldiers through a first-person narrative, as they fight hand-and-hoof beside ponies to save Equestria... or whatever's left of it by the end.

ay this story is pretty good woaw

I don't understand why this isn't any more popular. I look forward to more!

If the main OCs in this story were voiced, what would they sound like?

You mean the crossover characters?

Hearts was now riding piggyback on Hags, which looked cute in its own way

You know, in all the fics that I’ve read crossing over humans in Equestria or just humans and ponies together, I’ve always thought about a pony sitting on a humans shoulders like a kid. Thanks for the image.

I’d forgotten how much banter goes on between the guys, particularly Haggard and Sweets, when your not doing much in game. It’s been so long since I’ve played the games in campaign mode.

So based on the description that is likely Spitfire inside the tower, likely with Soarin as well since there are two of them. Just a guess but based on what has happened with these guys knowledge on random things present in a situation one of them is going to know something about British aviation and connect the dots with her name. Just me thinking too much about random comedy crossovers.

Well now I'm curious, I'll be waiting for the next chapter.

I mean, they have voice actors in the Bad Company games.

I’m still gonna do it anyway:

Redford (Sarge) - A solid Southern accent, not a down right country accent like Haggard’s. Also over the hump agewise. Just gonna say this too: his character’s Black. He doesn’t like to talk a lot under stress, so he just tells everyone else to zip it.

Haggard- Texan. Full blown. No shame in his heart or larynx. Doent talk a lot in ‘countrisms’ like Applejack does, but he sure yells like her with “YEEE-HAw and what not.

Sweetwater- Just a city boy...
But born and raised in Jersey. Has a naisily, pretty much nerdy accent to him, which accent his glasses too. He’s real smart with his words, often throwing out puns so high over everyone else that’s it’s sad to hear them go to waste.

Preston- Wow, this voice basic. Has no real accent to pin him anywhere but has a mildly deep voice, at least compared to Sweetwater.

Well, I stand corrected about Soarin, though I do like Vapor Trail as a character a lot more anyway. I dig this duo.

The big question is what is the higher rank, Seargent or Captain?

9284095
Technically captain, but there’s no bearing on her rank over his. In reality, an army officer can’t technically order a marine around, but they can report them to their superiors. (I think)

And when you consider their differences, there’s literally nothing stopping Sarge from ignoring Spitfire’s title, except a little respect.

Your logic makes sense, but my imagination will still run with the image of Spitfire with an M4A1 with a bunch of idiots lagging behind as she tries to find her teammates :rainbowlaugh:

RIP Ghost Rider, you will be missed. Enjoy your Buddha ass-kicking in heaven dude.

From the experience of reading the original I just hope that Vapor Trail shows up eventually. She is one of my favorite characters and I would be just a little upset if she missed out for this rewrite. Everything is still hilarious though so no problems there.

Edit: Also this story seems to have a bit better pacing now which is good. Last time I remember reading it we were already fighting for canterlot by the fourth chapter. Spitfire is still here though and she is still making remarks worthy of Bad Company too.

Reality can often be disappointing...

Fortunately, this is fiction—so that doesn’t matter. Certain... circumstances may change, but your concerns are fine.

Also, I’m gonna have to change something about Spitfire at the end of 7...
