It's great to see another one of your stories again

Thanks. As much as I enjoy writing suspense, lower tension slice of life tales are always fun.

So glad to see this series back! I was hoping Celestia would get an entry...

9488182
Thank you! I did miss writing these tales.

I enjoy this series. Keep it up.

9489269
Thank you. I'm glad to hear that.

Honestly quite realistic, this situation. I could definitely understand Celestia -being in the position that she is, and how Belly Dance is often portrayed- being quite... hesitant about this whole thing.

9499946
Indeed. By offering to host the recital at CHS, she could be putting her head in the noose.

Imagine what any school superintendent might have to say!:raritydespair:

...yeah, this isn't going to end well for Cinch.

9524141
I'm almost thinking she'll be converted.
Almost.

9524206
Cinch belly dancing? I can see it. She made mistakes and in her quest for revenge, she sees a beautiful art form. Dancing will give her a new perspective and maybe make her popular. Or at least get her on her way to being nice.

9524364
But then again it is Cinch... She loves her image.

9524075

9524141

9524364
Indeed, Cinch would be their least open/friendly audience member thus far. We'll see what comes...

9525950 Dunno what she would think of Cadance and the Shadowbolts being belly dancers the whole time.

9532514
Cinch would definitely be surprised, to say the least!

This is gonna get big.

I know it's a bit of a late comment, but now I have this weird mental image of Cinch being overly giddy about this discovering, tap-dancing all over her office while singing (on the tune of that pseudo-arabian melody whose name I forgot but everyone heard):
There's a place in France
Where the naked ladies dance
Just before breaking into a fit of evil laughter.

And someone standing just outside her door going "WTF!"

I don't know. I just find this hilarious.

And Cinch is forced to flee with her tail betwixt her legs once more in five, four, three...

This is going to actually backfire on Cinch, isn't it? I just know it.

Something tells me she'll actually get the exact opposite reaction of what she wanted from her students. Though...

"You'll do fine. At least we don't have any otherworldly arcane menaces to deal with."

This is an apt description. Very apt.

Heh, probably the custodian.

I doubt the song Poor Little Country Maid AKA The Streets Of Cairo will ever fade away into antiquity.

9539794

9540498

9540601
Cinch is in for a surprise, alright! All that she is certain of at this point is CHS hosting something "improper."

This will be one situation that cannot be resolved with rainbows and lasers!

Here's a thought: How about the Starlight learns about the classes and tries it out? I mean we need a Pony-turned Human to try their hooves at it.

Well, I'll be damned... Cinch actually changed her mind. ...That sounds so wrong coming out of my mouth.

One of the unwritten rules of dating a belly dancer is to NEVER ask for a private performance.

I had no idea. Then again, it is an unwritten rule I suppose.

Gah! This was such a fun installment! <3

As Cinch began to walk away, Celestia called after her. "You know, Chiffon Veil's dance studio is always welcoming new students."

Cinch stopped and looked back over her shoulder, her usual severity restored. "Thank you, but I'll stick with Pilates."

Now we need a small oneshot titled "Our Dictator Tried Bellydancing That One Time" :rainbowlaugh:

9555892
I once Googled up articles on dating belly dancers, and this particular item usually came up.

Most of the belly dancers I've met IRL also shared this sentiment.

9554065
She probably realized that she had more to lose by going through with her original plan.

9555904
Glad you enjoyed it!

It's very difficult for me to even picture Cinch dancing at all, short of being compelled to do so by some weird science device like in Twilight Sparkle's Science Fair Sparks.

9556026
Still, it would have been interesting, maybe as a what-if ending to see what had happened had Cinch decided to go through with her original plans and how the trio dealt with the consequences.

9556092
Definitely, though it's funny to contemplate her trying it, while trying not to be caught as if she was hiding a murder XD

I must say, this was quite the twist ending. And I like it. Cinch changing her mind about everything at the last minute was certainly refreshing to see.

Keep up the good work. I hope to see more stories like this in the future.

9826511
Thank you! I'm glad that you are enjoying these tales.

Nice conclusion to the story! I must admit, it's nice to see Cinch actually realize her mistake (miracles DO happen!) and the ending of the story was particularly entertaining as well. Solid work! ^_^

9828196
Thank you very much! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed this story and its prequels.

Funnily enough, I don't think "superintendents" exist in Australia - at least, I've never heard anyone talk about the position. Not parents, not students, not staff.
I'm sure they, or an equivalent, exist here, but I find it odd no-one has mentioned it in all of my school years and beyond.

I've been binge reading these stories and I like what I'm reading. I've seen belly dancers preform and they're good.

Thank you very much! I strive to do both the dance and dancers justice in my tales.
