I'm pretty sure there's a rule against dividing a story into multiple chapters/"one-shots".

I don't know exactly what they are. I just wrote the second one and it didn't feel quite like it should be a second chapter of the same story...felt more like it should be added as a sequel...of sorts.
If that makes sense....
I guess this was bittersweet.
