I prefer a Combat Rifle(semi) with a medium scope and a large mag. Keeps a safe distance.
Suppressed10mm with a long barrel, reflex sight and a large mag. Stealth kils at decent range.
With Rifleman and Gunslinger this seems like the most versatile build that works for me.
9376134 You'll see it next chapter, don't worry. As for why he didn't use it, well, he did, but it was during one of the times he died. One thing to remember is that Deathclaws are resistant to bullets. I mean, in the games, over a hundred shots with an un-upgraded minigun won't kill even one, so I'd say that's pretty telling to how tough their hides are.
Still, your point rings true, so I'll see about adding in how he used it in this chapter.
