This is a very nice short story,I like how you explained the motives for choosing his specific species
as being something that would directly benefit his career.
Nice story and it's clear that he made a good choice. I realized that changing into a seapony would be usefull for a park ranger before he explained it and I liked the reference to The Last Unicorn.
I wonder, if Soaring Mist still wears a uniform, is it made like a caparison or more like a better-made version of those costumes some people put their cats and dogs in for Halloween that has to be zipped up?
