Who am I? Why, I'm just a passing through Kamen Rider... Got it memorized?

Wait, Shining, come back, she’s awake! I liked the suspense in the ending, it was cool. Will there be a sequel or were you planning on making this a one part story?

This, good sir and/or madam, is tragedy done right. Kudos.

For one moment, I thought she dies after he left

Ponies having embolisms... well ok then.

I first expected it to be brain damage from Shining throwing his wife at Sombra.

This is a well done little story. Hits a bit close to home, as all tragic stories should. The ending was a nice touch. Won't lie: I often worry what happened to Caddy here will happen to me.

PS - I found a typo that might could use your attention:

On an on they had gonef,

On and on they had gone,

Having been in the Royal Guard for many years, Shining was no stranger to hospitals. Sustaining injuries ranging from the mild to the serious where just in the job description for being a Royal Guard, and Shining had been no exception. Even before that he had visited friends and family alike in hospitals like this one, like the day he had gotten to meet his adorable little sister for the very first time for instance.

*were just in the job description* not *where*

After Sunburst had come to look after Flurry Heart, Cadance and him had gone to take care of the usual tasks necessary to make sure the Crystal Empire remained up and running smoothly, mostly consisting of one tiring meeting after another with one or more representative from the different districts of the empire. On an on they had gonef, and Shining couldn’t help but repeat the image of Cadance rubbing at her temples again and again as the day went on, unable to do anything as tragedy inched ever closer.

*gone*

Refreshing that it was a health matter rather than a villain. And the ending was a nice touch.

This was a very well written out sad story.

We need a next chapter:pinkiehappy:

Welcome back, Cadi.
